Good food, great view!

We had breakfast here in the mornings during our stay at the Layana which was great. We also ate here for dinner. The food is good and the view of the water is unbelievable.

My bf and I didn't arrive until nearly 9pm, and they were kind enough to let us eat dinner in our shorts and t-shirts as opposed to the stricter dress code. The food was great and the ocean at night is so calm and tranquil.

Ate here every day, 100% perfect! Fine, local, very fresh cuisine. A table by the beach in the daytime and the evening is perfect - watch the stars while you dine in the evening

We had our dinner at the last night at Lanta. It's expensive because of the 5 star service and the place. We had green curry tiger prawn spaghetti, taste good but the prawn is very unfresh in texture. The steak was good. The wine was very expensive but it's enjoyable to sit there and have one. Welcome sparkling was offered... More

Well, well: the beach-fronting terrace Tides restaurant and the beach and the bar and the beach massage, restrooms, beach showers are all ..just perfect! If you are looking for an unintimidating, professional and truly helpful steward, just find Clement, the French head of food and beverages in Layana resort, which is not posh at all but totally unpretentious and top... We had a lovely evening at this restaurant. Happy hour drinks at the bar first then dining on the patio by the beach. We were warmly greeted by everyone, especially the young man from France who was the manager. He made sure everything was just right for us. We had the fresh catch of the day, red snapper and the... First day we got to KO lanta we stumble across tides and a warm welcome awaited us from a male staff member, eager for our custom. My partner proposed the day before and we were looking to celebrate, but said we would come back tomorrow. Next evening we arrive and we were either told we could sit in the chill... More

Thank you for taking your time reviewing our Tides Restaurant and foremost congratulation for your engagement from all of us. After some investigations, it is correct that you were wearing shorts and flip flops from the beach, which is against our dress code, what our supervisor nicely told you and still was trying to get you a table ‘outdoor’ as...
