Possibly the worst meal I have eaten in Thailand; an extreme disappointment as I had a lovely time there 2 years ago. The location of the restaurant is lovely, particularly at night, and the staff are friendly.

Perhaps they were having an off evening but they served food that was at best mediocre (flat Thai dishes, but not quite indelible), and barely recognisable cocktails, albeit with a smile. Fortunately the view was a pleasant distraction from the meal, however as a sightseeing trip it would still not have represented good value. Expect to pay about four to...

After checking into our room (lovely) we made it down for our dinner reservations. We had a great table at waters edge on the deck and that particular night was Thai buffet night. Between myself and my husband, we both sampled great specialities...all were terrific. The only thought was that I was glad to have had the table at that...

We stayed at Layana Resort and Spa where this restaurant is and ate here twice, including my partner's big birthday meal, which the staff made extra special with a specially baked birthday cake which they presented to him with candles and singing 'happy birthday!'......fabulous high quality food, wine, presentantion and service. We both ate Thai food the first time and...

I particularly like the green curry here, it's in a class of its own. The Tom Yum soup is also a good choice here, but I didn't like the dessert menu much, well, the thing to go for is mango with sticky rice, you can't go wrong with that
Relaxed classy restaurant in a wonderful beach setting, beautifully presented and utterly delicious Thai and European food created by a talented Thai Chef.
We haven't tried the restaurant, but came for happy hour drinks two times. The perfect romantic setting, relaxing music, very romantic! Drinks: The Coco Loco was ok, but Margaritas were better in my opinion. Sitting there by the sea with all the lights is the perfect ending of a day on the beach.
This is a very upscale restaurant with excellent service and food. Sat right on the beach and all of us (8) were very happy with our food. For a special night out, this is the placer to go.
Tides at Layana Resort was absolutely lovely. We headed there for lunch and the food was realllyyy good. We also drank the ABSOLUTELY BEST cocktail we ever had before(and we do drink quite a fair bit) at Tides! Their "Coco Loco" cocktail was soooo delicious that it alone is tempting us to revisit Ko Lanta soon!! Dining by the beach...
