Lovely food but inattentive service.

We are here twice and the food was really good. The best curries we had tasted on Koh lanta. The manager was very friendly and approachable. The service was slow and they don't come back to your table to check if everything is ok or if you need another drink therefore losing potential extra money... read more

This is the worst restaurant experience that we both had in our life worldwide! Do not go unless you are willing to pay £25 for 4 prawns! We foolishly trusted the waiter with our order, despite there being no prices on the menu. The food was not the best, but good. When the bill came to £50 for 4 prawns,... More

Roi Thai doesn't disappoint, as we have dined many times the last 4 years. Their food has always been really good, and used to be a reasonable value. This year we found a revamped menu, and the prices escalated, making them marginally more expensive than similar quality restaurants nearby. We have found all the dishes we have sampled to be... I enjoyed my meal at Roi Thai, the mixed of spices was perfect, though could be too much for some. The place was packed yet the service was very good and the view of the beach and sea was very pleasant. I recommend it 100%.

Walked in when we couldn't find the restaurant we were looking for. Good friendly service and the food had lots of flavour. The barbequed fish was particularly good.

Heavily spruiked in front of restaurant to enter - I should have known better than to go in! Meal was very average, but the 'House Specialty' chicken dish was terrible! Very plain, no special spices, no taste at all, just tasteless chicken pieces, very expensive dish. When we complained it was very bland, they did not offer anything else or... More

This was our first experience of Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. There was a slight mix up with our meals, which were sorted very promptly, human error - nobody's perfect. Don't mind mistakes when they're rectified. The food was tasty and staff were friendly. Will return again when we go back to Lanta.

We had a cooking class at Roi Thai with Toy. He was the best teacher ever :D Our courses were Spring rolls, Red Curry sauce with chicken and TomYam-Soup. So pretty good set of the traditional thai foods. And they did get you from the hotel. ...And also get us back as well ;) 5/5 - no doubt.

We took 3 different classes. Hard work with chopping and mortar ;-) Amazing flavours! I will not shop bought curry paste again. Great teacher, lots of fun and laughter. The best activity of our holiday and skills to take home. Not for freaky eaters ;-)

We visited at Roi Thai at beginning of our holiday and the restaurant was on beach side but the meal was bad. Chicken which we both ate was like old and cold. Still that meal was the most expensive and still the worst of our holiday.
