We are staying at Lanta Sand Resort and Spa. When you come out of the property, and turn right, Cook Kai is just a very short walk away on the right-hand side of the road. It is one of the nicest restaurants I have seen on the island; it's big, open and tidy. We had the Jungle Curry (140 baht)... More

My boyfriend and I decided to go here after seeing it advertised EVERYWHERE on Koh Lanta. I had a glass noodle prawn salad while he had sweet and sour and noodles in some gravy-flavoured sauce. Although I was not a huge fan of the gravy-tasting noodle sauce on his dish, it was all fresh, delicious and delivered very quickly! There... More

Although we only saw a local couple, and everyone else were foreigners, we did not regret coming back to eat on a different night. I ate here several times during my stay in Koh Lanta. The prices are reasonable and the food is great. But what stands out is the friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend this resturant for anyone visiting the area.

We visited the newer restaurant south of Ban Sala Dan on a lunchtime. We were the only customers, and the staff trooped off from their tv set to create our order. Pad Thai - was good. large portion. Tempura prawns - very good. Pork noodle soup - not to my taste, but im not an expert. Anemic bits of pork... More

We enjoyed the whole experience at kook Kai. The food was excellent . A bit more expensive than other places but worth the money. We would have gone again but only found it just before we came home.
