this restaurant is unbelievable. Playing oldies music, run by 4 Thai brothers and family, their food is fantastic. My husband had Barracuda and I had giant king prawns both to die for. Just a short walk from our hotel Lataya Resort and Spa. Definitely recommend

One of the hotel managers have us recommendations in where to eat and this is one of the places that he recommended. And it turned out with good reason. I would say Cook Tai is better as a place to go for lunch or light dinner, and that is what we did, in fact we liked it so much we... More

Nice big open restaurant. Very pleasant staff. We had Masaman curry that has a creamy sauce and a Jungle curry that was tasty with a soup consistency. Very nice

The place looked lively enough for low season, so, without great expectations, we decided to give it a try. And what a surprise it was! The portions are generous and the taste just perfect! Some of the best prawns I've ever had. Friendly service adds up to the excellent experience.

My boyfriend and I visited twice whilst visiting Koh Lanta last month, each time we were not disappointed! Great food and service. We arrived quite late one evening and they only had 20 minutes until closing but they still welcomed us in! Would definitely recommend!

We came at the klong...something location with high expectations because of all the good reviews. The food was average (jungle and yellow curry were both like bouillon and not many ingredients), and communication was difficult. I ordered brown rice (yes have) but got white (no have brown) and got green curry instead of yellow. They apologized and went away for... More

We are staying at Lanta Sand Resort and Spa. When you come out of the property, and turn right, Cook Kai is just a very short walk away on the right-hand side of the road. It is one of the nicest restaurants I have seen on the island; it's big, open and tidy. We had the Jungle Curry (140 baht)... More
