We visited this restaurant twice during a week, always for dinner. The food is great, delicious and reasonably priced (especially if comparing with places along the beach that charge similar prices for Thai dishes from local ingredients). Restaurant is located away from the main road so it is quiet and has a very nice atmosphere, good choice of music :)... More

We had a hard time finding amazing restaurants during the week we were on Lanta (the best food we had came from street carts and roadside stands). But Red Snapper came highly recommended by our hotel, and my husband and I were generally happy with the meal, though we weren't blown away. The roti and curry was the tastiest of... More

We started with the chicken liver pate, chorizo with tortilla and guac cream, the duck breast with pomelo and lemongrass sauce for mains and the ginger lemon feddo for desert. All in all a surprisingly excellent meal tucked away in long beach Koh Lanta. Their creative use of Asian ingredients in an entirely European menu is what really stood out... More

My boyfriend and I came in early 2013 and yes the prices are higher than other places in Thailand, but the food is truly divine! The Dutch owners marry European and Asian tastes, sweet , savoury, sour and spicy in lovely little garden settings and they get it right each time! Red Snapper is our reference for refinement and the... More

We gave in to our tummies 3 times coming here. Although the prices are higher than normal thai food there is nothing normal about the food her, it is absolutely delicious and so worth the money! You have to do it at least once! We initially rented scooters and tried to find it ourselves but as a tuk tuk was... More

Nice little place with a bit of charm, lovely food with lots of choice on the menu. It gets very busy so best to book in advance. We were in a large group of 12 people and they accommodated for us well. Starters were lovely and all prepared fresh and presented nicely on the plate. definitely worth a visit

Going back every year on Koh Lanta, and every year going back to my favorite one. The food is just amazing!

I'd researched recommended restaurants on Koh Lanta before arriving and Red Snapper was at the top of the list. Not having been to Thailand before, the road-side restaurants were a real novelty to me and (if I'm honest) made me a little questionable about food quality and cleanliness. But, once we'd arrived, Joyce and her small team made us feel... More

Red Snapper is an absolute gem of a restaurant and the food is always amazing. As someone who lives on Koh Lanta this is my favorite restaurant. The setting is great, nestled in tropical gardens and great hosts in Eddy & Joyce. Also excellent service from their staff. Great menu of fusion food & flavours. A must for anyone visiting... More
