Well, I heard that it was the oldest and the most famous restaurant in town. I went there with my friends 2 months ago and found it completely blandddddd...... The food had no flavor, the tables were dirty with no one even caring about it. I don't know why is it so famous? I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone..... More

This famous Dhaba is primarily located next to Bharawan Da Dhaba and also has a newly opened branch closer to the Golden temple. Just like Bharwan, the food is excellent, having good portions, and loaded with dollops of desi ghee which makes it a delight to one's taste buds. As compared to Bharawan Da Dhaba, the menu is more extensive... More

It is small and a very well run restaurant. We tried Punjabi food, although it serves other cuisines as well.It is neat and clean, more of a family place for meals.Food was great and also the ambience.Great value for money.

We ordered paneer pakora, thawa paneer (Brother's special), Chana Dal at the main Dhaba near the Golden temple. The quality of the food was excellent - the paneer was very soft, but the lassi at Ahuja's was better than the lassi at other locations. The crowd was unmanageable (could have been managed better), but the service was really fast. We... More

Three of us came here as it was recommended by our hotel and by our driver. It's a simple place, don't expect luxury. The prices are very reasonable ~2USD per entree and about $.16 per roti! We had the dal fry, mutter paneer, bangan bhartha, chana masala, rotis, mineral water and dessert all for about ~11USD. The food was delicious... More

Had to include this place as per numerous recommendations , Though the place was crowded still got a place in about 5-10 min wait. The food was actually served faster than the time we took to decide what to order. Taste was good and Service was equally good too. I too have joined the list to recommend this place to... More

This is a restaurant just adjusting Bharavan da Dhaba and probably the cooks are almost equally talented. Amazing food except for too much use of desi ghee.

This is a hyped place...Food is ok at competitive prices.. but the ambience might turn you off... in the evenings, its so crowded that you will not find any place to sit ...the management will not help...they will tell you to keep looking for a table on your own.. .... As mentioned, food is decent, but smililar quality is available... More

Come here and enjoy the true typical panjabi food. The seating space is okay. There are lot of people coming and going, still privacy is maintained. Menu has lot of options to cover all kind of taste-buds travelling in this holy city. But best thing to try is the local food. Apart form other stuff we ordered kulchas. The Service... More
