General background info: This is a dhaba, which usually refers to those smaller-than-restaurant places where locals eat and that are much cheaper than touristy restaurants. I also heard that dhabas usually serve fresher good than restaurants, but that their toilets are more...rather less nice. The location: Close to golden temple and almost everyone knows the place. Clean here, with AC.... More

Mixed experience of Brothers Dhaba, the "wet" curries weren't to my liking and seemed very creamy but the rice dishes were great. The staff were often quite rude and obviously wanted us to leave although we were still wanting to order more food but it had free wifi and AC which was great. Dishes and portion sizes were good value... More

Seeing all positive reviews we gave it a try - however, Dal makhani, naan and other stuff we ordered was not upto the mark. The worst part was after we paid the bill and asked serving staff to pack one of our dish, he was not even entertaining us.

The Good - Awesome food. Decided to order a thali so that i could get a taste of multiple stuff. The Nan's were the best i've ever had and surprisingly continued to be soft even after 10 mins . ( Normally the nan's become rubber in less than 5 mins ;) ) The Paneer and dal Makhni was great and... More

Delicious, authentic food at great prices. Close to the Golden Temple (next to the dominoes/ under the coca cola sign and up some stairs), they offered a nice AC environment with friendly waiting staff. We visited them at about 1/2pm- the restaurant was reasonably busy, which is always a good sign, but not packed. We enjoyed their veg special, veg... More

We jumped in during our trip to the Golden Temple and were happily surprised. I had a terrific good vegetarian byryan. The pizza's of the kids were also good to very good. Certainly a place I would go back to and that I recommend fully. FYI, we paid 895 roepies for 6 persons. That's cheap.
