There's only ONE thing on the menu, and, that's the tandoori kulcha, AND, it comes with only ONE kind of stuffing, that is a mix of aloo, pyaz, gobhi. With this kind of specialization you cannot go wrong. It is the best kulcha in town. The kulcha with this filling is known everywhere as the Amritsari kulcha, and is amazingly good... More

I dont know whether to give more importance to taste or to the place where you are supposed to sit and eat. Kulcha means stuffed maida (refined wheat) parantha type. Here it is potato (aaloo) filled maida put inside a clay oven for baking. It is dressed with lots of ghee for unique taste. It is served with chana (white... More

Terrific stuff ! This. Roadside eatery serves you the finest kulcha, Channa and awesome chutney. We ended up overeating. The service was quick. Forget calories and just indulge in kulchas with generous coating of butter.

The Amritsari Kulcha's haven't become world famous just like that. It's something in the way they are made(in the Tandoor with various stuffings), to the way they are served(With Chana, Chutney, Butter). Taste that one would find only in Amritsar, probably due to the water and atmosphere there which facilitates easy digestion of the food.

It's cheap, It's fun. It's greasy. You eat sitting on a bench outside or just inside this street stall. Residents will tell you their kulcha is special. I'd say it's just a paratha. It's considered "breakfast". If you come back after 1:00pm the stall space is given over to a jewelry and trinket vendor.
