I've been coming to Cafe Real since I was a child for their Puri Bhaji and till date i come here when I'm in town. Recommend it to anyone coming to Panjim. Only drawback is that the food has become more oily! But if y'all want some simple food to enjoy, this is it!

The best place in Panjim for when you want to just tank up on something that's not too heavy or just feel like having a snack. The service is quick, the food is fresh and tasty. You must have the puri bhaji (suki) which tastes consistently good no matter how long time time between your visits.

What a great place to sip an evening cup of tea along with local snacks. Nothing special about the decor but gives you this old colonial vibe. Went with a group of local friends and all the snacks ordered were all freshly made. I was told the restaurant is pretty old dating back to the portuguese regime, but I must... More

This is over sixty years old restaurant in Panaji, which has acquired its classy reputation since the Portuguese regime in Goa. The restaurant continues at the same central location (Near Azad Maidan) although the interior has undergone periodical changes. Today it is a compact air-conditioned quiet place where Panajiites take pride in having their snacks and tea. Their aloo bhaji... More

This is one of the oldest cafes in Panaji. Its Puree Bhaji is outstanding , and very original , quite different from the ones you may get in Mumbai. The ambience is typically maintained, as it was since many years. Service is efficient. Its central location , is a boon to shoppers in Panaji.

I'm surprised that Cafe Real is'nt higher on this list, cuz it really was one of the most honest and fulfilling experiences in a Goan resteraunt. It doesn't claim to be anything it isn't either in food or in price. Its a nice Local resteraunt that is clean and serves up good food with quick service. the place gets crowded... More
