You wont find a better place than this. It is the best. Try the chicken mandarin dim sums. It comes with delicious dipping sauces. For main course the Japanese fried rice or fragrant Thai rice are good picks. Along with teriyaki glazed salmon or lobster are excellent. Among the desserts the rose petal scented creme brulee is good .

This restaurant is by Vivanta - The Taj Panjim. The food here is authentic and exceptionally good. The Sushi here is what converted me to a die-hard sushi lover. However, after my recent visit, I noticed the chef had changed and so the sushi is good but not how it used to be...although the desert, the drinks and main course... More

The food is good but I must admit that I have had better oriental food at other restaurants. The service and ambience is undoubtedly the best like all taj restaurants. Didnt try their Indian food so cant comment about that.

My craving for Thai food took me to Tamari. This wasn't my first visit here, so I knew this is one place I can rely on as far as yum oriental food is concerned. Tamari is a modern oriental restaurant at the Taj Vivanta and the continues to reflect the style that all Vivanta Hotels are known for. We walked... More

Tried fish and shrimp dumplings, fish tastes nice but it is indian style but not Chinese style. Dumpling was good but nicer without spring onion as Chinese don't put it in Har Gau. Chef is nice that advice is taken and staff is friendly!

This place brings back super memories - a run at the gym, a sauna glow, a quick bath and then Id pickup my chopsticks at Tamari. Fantastic food and superb service - there used to be this floor manager Ryan; A gem of a person and a true professional. The crab soup, Maki Sushi, followed by the Pad thai noodles... More

Yummmmm Yummmm Yummmm we thought we would try something other than Indian so we were told about the Tamari restaurant which is in another Vivante by Taj Hotels in Panaji (1/2 hour drive by taxi). So we tried Japanese the 1st night (we were hanging out for fresh seafood which we thought would of been easy to obtain in Goa... More

Food here is very good, some delicious starters, but also the mains are good. Staff is friendly, though sometimes a bit slow and clumsy.
