You have to leave the beautiful, restaurant filled city to come out to this area which is ugly and just like a dusty building site. The food is cheap but bland, basic and nothing special. With so much good food on offer in Panjim, why bother?

Frequent readers will know that I have reviewed this restaurant several times over the last few years and I will continue to do so because the food is that good. My wife and I ate hear several times during our holiday and the quality of food seems to be better every year. The first evening that we ate here we... More

Amazing little road side restaurant offering chinese/ indian food. We had a selection of chinese dishes and 2 alcoholic drinks each and the bill was less than 1000 rupees (£10)

Just up the driveway from the Cidade de Goa (but be prepared for a steep hill to work up an appetite). Close to the accommodation and very cheap. Food was very spicy, but we didn't ask for it not to be which I was told by other regulars they will make less spicy if requested.

Nice home cooked food experience. Very reasonable as compared to the few worth while places in Dona Paula.

Ate here several times during a recent trip to Goa. Food was superb very well prepared and presented. Lots of authentic Goan food as well as Chinese. Try the pepper chicken and the diced potatoes. Breads were also very good. This is well worth a trip. And very reasonably prided. Popular with locals which is always a good sign. Very... More

We have been going to this hotel since 2001 and have been having consistently average service and quality of food. I was away from Goa for almost 8 years and am back since past 6 months and I have been a regular at this place since October last year. I also like the simplicity of making the dal and chapati... Excellent little cafe/bar. Don't be fooled by its appearance. Great food, excellent choices and very cheap. Well worth a visit. The owner Alice also has a nice little shop next door that sells anything you forgot to take on holiday and also a variety of food and soft drinks.I would recommend shop and restaurant whole heartedly.

The Soft Rock Restaurant is at the top of the drive way to the Cidade De Goa Hotel (where we stayed on holiday). Walk to the top of the driveway, you will see it on the other side of the road, about 50 metres, walking up and away from the hotel entrance. We spotted a review on Trip Advisor and... More

This cafe/bar was recommended to us by a couple who stay in the area for 3 months every year. It was the only place within walking distance of our Hotel. It doesn't look much but the staff very very helpful and polite. The food , we all went for veggie, was excellent and the wine "Sula Rose" the best of... More
