You have to leave the beautiful, restaurant filled city to come out to this area which is ugly and just like a dusty building site. The food is cheap but bland, basic and nothing special. With so much good food on offer in Panjim, why bother?

Amazing little road side restaurant offering chinese/ indian food. We had a selection of chinese dishes and 2 alcoholic drinks each and the bill was less than 1000 rupees (£10)

Just up the driveway from the Cidade de Goa (but be prepared for a steep hill to work up an appetite). Close to the accommodation and very cheap. Food was very spicy, but we didn't ask for it not to be which I was told by other regulars they will make less spicy if requested.

Ate here several times during a recent trip to Goa. Food was superb very well prepared and presented. Lots of authentic Goan food as well as Chinese. Try the pepper chicken and the diced potatoes. Excellent little cafe/bar. Don't be fooled by its appearance. Great food,excellent choices and very cheap. Well worth a visit. The owner Alice also has a nice little shop next door that sells anything you forgot to take on holiday and also a variety of food and soft drinks.I would recommend shop and restaurant whole heartedly.

The Soft Rock Restaurant is at the top of the drive way to the Cidade De Goa Hotel (where we stayed on holiday). This cafe/bar was recommended to us by a couple who stay in the area for 3 months every year. It was the only place within walking distance of our Hotel.
