Very expensive restaurant, don't know why!

The restaurant is located in the heart of Panaji. However, the prices of food are exorbitant by Goa standards. There are many places where you can get a good quality food at reasonable prices. I will not recommend this for those who seek true Goan food

Loved the malai kofta and tikkas here. The Indian breads were also superior. The ambiance is not so great, pretty basic, but if you want the bast north Indian food Goa has to offer, make a bee line for this place on 18th June Road.

There is a distinct difference of flavour in the North Indian food served by the restaurants that have their roots in western India and those that genuinely are offshoots of restaurants in North India. Shere-Punjab has a distinctly Western flavour to their North Indian dishes. Good for a quick bite or one meal but certainly heavy for a second visit.... More

Food was really average. We ordered Chana maaala and daal makhani, which are very basic Punjabi dishes and were not at all good. Born n brought up in Punjab knows the Punjabi food. Expensive and 300ml cold drink is almost thrice the price. We still doubt whether we visited Sher E Punjab.

We have been visiting this restaurant since Nov 2011 or in other words, whenever we visit Goa, we surely visit this restaurant for lunch or dinner. In short & simple, this is one of the finest & best family bar & restaurant in Panjim, Goa. They serve wide variety of dishes. Extending further, they have been in the business for... More
