The food here is not absolutely the best in town, and the service isn't quite as good as you might find elsewhere. Do not let that put you off, however. Both are fine - and you will never, ever forget sitting out on one of those tiny balconies, eating your food, and watching Goa wander past under your very feet.... More

Even before I walked in the door, loved the place looking up from the street at the charming sitout balconies on the 1st floor and the interesting door that you step into to enter the magical world of venite. I couldn't sit down for a couple of minutes as the decor was so fascinating and I love quirky so just... More

Super , took me some time to soak in the place , what a feast to my eyes !! Luis , the owner , such a pleasant person, gave us a brief history about Hospedaria Venite. This place surely takes you back in time. The masala prawns, garlic bread ( Super)., bombil crumb fry, barracuda portuguese style, garlic butter squid,... More

One of the "must visit" places in Goa. Sea food is absolutely mouth watering. Reasonably priced. This is place has it's own old and rustic charm. Loved it.

We went there for couple of beers and appetisers, as we had our dinner reservations else where. This place reminds of the good old days, and it is one of those local joints you should visit. Cant comment of food, as we really only went there for beers. Service was prompt.

Be it the pork or the chicken, I advise you to order it. It is unlike anything that London, Manchester or Bradford could possibly ever have to offer in the way of good food. It is sublime, has clarity of flavours and is the genuine article. In short, it's ambrosia.

Really recommend this restaurant if you are interested in good Goan cuisine. The food was superb and the ambience absolutely intriguing. The balcony is a bit narrow for comfort but the food is recommended.

Hotel venite has been my favorite restaurant , the walls are filled with graffiti written by backpackers many years back. The owner Luis has been doing a wonderful job, the foods very tasty, the beef steak stuffed with ham and cheese , the beef and pork sausage chilly fry with garlic bread is great .

Delicious food!! We got a little lost find this place since there are so many one way streets in the area, but once we got there it was wonderful! Tiny balconies with 2 chairs and a tables stuffed into them, making for a cozy booth to have dinner (though only for 2!!), and all over the walls, Goa-inspired art, along... More

Venite has a distinct old world charm about it. It is another one of our favourites in Panaji. The atmosphere is relaxing - one side feels like a personal living room and the other has wall art that captures your attention. Balconies have these miniature tables and chairs, tricky to get in and out of, that are charming. Some of... More
