Really recommend this restaurant if you are interested in good Goan cuisine. The food was superb and the ambience absolutely intriguing. The balcony is a bit narrow for comfort but the food is recommended.

Hotel venite has been my favorite restaurant , the walls are filled with graffiti written by backpackers many years back. The owner Luis has been doing a wonderful job, the foods very tasty, the beef steak stuffed with ham and cheese , the beef and pork sausage chilly fry with garlic bread is great .

Delicious food!! We got a little lost find this place since there are so many one way streets in the area, but once we got there it was wonderful! Tiny balconies with 2 chairs and a tables stuffed into them, making for a cozy booth to have dinner (though only for 2!!), and all over the walls, Goa-inspired art, along... More

Venite has a distinct old world charm about it. It is another one of our favourites in Panaji. The atmosphere is relaxing - one side feels like a personal living room and the other has wall art that captures your attention. Balconies have these miniature tables and chairs, tricky to get in and out of, that are charming. Some of... More

This place is a must visit for people who love Goan and the erstwhile Portuguese Goan cuisine. The dishes are well prepared and the prices are very reasonable. The walls are full of history and art created by visitors of this place. The place has a very old world feel about it

Read about this place in a listing of Goan restaurants and this was rated 1. Its a lovely place in terms of ambience, quaint little windows with two seater sit outs, grafittis and wall art- you can definitely hand out here... we went on a rainy day and it was even better. Food is good, but not great. The goan... More

Cannot rate the food since we only had drinks there. But it has mega cute appeal with the little balcony table. But be warned if you are very tall or even a little stout you will have a hard time squeezing yourself into that little hobbit-sized balcony. But if you do manage then you have a lovely view of the... More

Definately one of the best restaurants in Panjim. The restaurant takes u back in time, giving u a old feeling of the Portuguese times in Goa. It shows us the Culture/heritage of the Goan - Portuguese. The Goan - Portuguese dishes are well prepared (just how we Goans Prepared em at home). I also like their steaks. Must visit..

You are very unlikely to spot this place unless you were going into each alley in Panaji although its tucked in a narrow street just behind the GPO right at the heart of Panaji. It has a charm of its own. A bit unkempt, a bit wild but generally neat. The graffiti room is a bit tacky. The food is nothing... More

Once you enter the restaurant you get mesmerized looking at the 60 year old, pre Goan independence place and its authentic Portuguese decor with old charm... Quite a nice place to feel the Portuguese culture right in the heart of Panjim city.. But the enthusiasm doesn't go further .. Menu could have been more elaborate.. Even quality of food needs...
