Went to Viva Panjim on our one night in Panjim upon the recommendation of Guest House owners. Very nice food, although they were unable to cater for many of the dishes on the menu as they did not have the appropriate ingredients. Originally sat on a very slanted table further up the lane, before asking to sit on one of... More

Absolutely love this hidden gem. Not just the fabulous 'home' style food, excellent consistency in taste and quality, quaint setting but also the lovely location all make for a memorable dining experience. Only constructive criticism I have is that the service standards could be lifted up a few notches. While the servers were polite and friendly they weren't very efficient... More

Since it seems to be on everyone's list and its location is perfect, this place is quite full from early in the evening, unless you're willing to head inside rather than sit at a cooler table outside. Not many locals seem to head here anymore, but it's crowded with tourists. Food was good, but they served the worst bread we... More

We have now visited this restaurant for lunch 2 years running and on both times come away very disappointed and will not visit again. It is a shame. It is a most picturesque place, up a little alleyway in the old Portugese quarter of Panaji - Fontainhas. You can eat in the shaded alleyway, in the fan cooled inner dining... More

Goa has so many eating options that we never ever end up at the same place second time in a week.....yet viva Panjim`s great food forced us to visit the place two times on our recent visit. having been to viva Panjim and having a great experience on the last vacation we were looking forward to visit again at least... Set amidst the heritage colony... Lunch by the curbside on a lazy afternoon is going to be fresh in memory for a long time... Very very reasonably priced and awesome food... I had an apricot steak (day's special) and it tasted like nothing i had ever eaten... Lives up to every word of its reputation....

The food is simply great . Try out the Goan dishes . The ambience is nicely done . The entrance may not be much appealing but when you are in Goa , this is a must try .

Wow - this must be the best value restaurant in the whole of India. Food was superb - so good that we even came back for dinner the same day - I don't think I've ever done that before in my life by choice at least! The prices of dishes are extremely reasonable and service is very good friendly and... More
