Everything about Sundowner's is great: the drinks, the view, the bartenders, the relaxed atmosphere, the classic rock on the radio, and the bacon cheeseburgers, and fries!
My husband and I visited Roatan in July and every day around 5pm we would hit Sundowners for Happy Hour! Beers were great and their Monkey Lala is out of this world! the environment is amazing and you can practically meet everyone that is in West End there! I will certainly miss the place and its staff Chris and Dani!... More
Aaron at Sundowners has an awesome package for cruise ship passengers that want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the normal shore excursions. It is the best deal going. He definitely went out of his way to make sure that all 10 of us were taken care of at Sundowners. The underwater views are spectacular in the... More
We recently spent a week in Roatan and made it our nightly ritual to go to Sundowners to watch the sunset and have drinks. Friendly staff. Loved the atmosphere here and the view was amazing. We can't wait to visit again on our next trip.
We stopped at this lovely spot on a cruise with our family in May 2011 (Carnival Dream cruise). My wife and I had stayed on Roatan 15 years ago, and were wanting to get away from the cruise ship with our kids to enjoy a day on the beach (away from the fabricated Mahagony Bay). We found out about this... More

Sundowners is a really cool spot. We had a great afternoon there -- definitely enjoyed the good burgers and beer.

Only two do not speak Spanish and I can hardly believe either of them would say something so callous and shallow, since they are two of my best bartenders. We've been... More
Great joint. Nice folks and amazing atmosphere. Super cheap beers on the beach. No brainer!!!
Sundowners always has a lively crowd which enticed us to check it out. We had a few interesting frozen drinks - monkey lala and a zac attack. All delicious. We didn't order food but they had a good list of bar food. Fantastic service and unbeatable sunset views. Definitely a stop in West End.
