Located on the beach right next door to our condo, Villa de Playa was The Lobster Pot. Run by the three Watler sisters this restaurant has wonderful outdoor seating, cold beer and wine with featuring grilled lobster, steak and chicken entrees with incredible side dishes and an "Island lime" pie made by pastry chief little sister Stella that will knock... This is a hidden jewel located on the far side of West End. It's a quant little spot on the beach. The kitchen is a small non-industrial one. Only a coupe of tables and food is made to order. We had lobster, calimari, and shrimp combo. It was great. Drinks were also good. Very quite really cool spot.

We enjoyed lots of fresh seafood during our August visit to Roatan, but Lobster Pot was our favorite. We took a water taxi from Infinity Bay with John and his family. They were right on the beach and charged $3. He took us right to Lobster Pot. We just got out of the boat and walked in the sand about... More

First off, the signs and directions are vague. We were lost in the tropical rainforest on foot at night. The best part was seeing lightning bugs (aka: fireflys) and land crabs big enough to take your foot off your ankle. Thank goodness I thought to bring along a flashlight. When the big rock I was about to step on moved,... More

Excellent hidden gem in the West End. Amazing lobster, fried chicken, shrimp, and homemade lemon pie on the house! This was paradise and we were treated to the most beautiful sunset on Roatan!

This gem is well worth the walk! We had an oceanfront table under the trees right on the sand. White tablecloth and candlelight to watch the sunset. Lobster was fantastic, rum shrimp amazing, coconut bread. Service was top notch. Best dinner of our entire week on Roatan.

After many trips to the West End over the years our water taxi guy, John, showed us where the Lobster Pot was. It's a bit off the beaten track (keep following the signs), but well worth it! This time we went twice and each time was fantastic. I had the shrimp in rum sauce the first time and it was... More

This restaurant is kind of out of the way at the far west end of West End Beach. We just kept walking along the beach until we found it. My husband had the shrimp in rum sauce with garlic mashed potatoes and they were to die for. I had the coconut shrimp and it was okay, but nothing great. I... More

My wife have been here 4-5 times over the last few years, and the place is amazing! The gals who run the place are super nice, and even shared their flashlight with us when the power went out! Hard to find, and be sure to have at least an hour or more, but well worth it!
