Best Coconut shrimp on the Island

Want a fantastic meal at a great value? Walk a few blocks on the beach to the west of West End and look for the sign. Picnic tables under coconut trees set the site for an excellent meal any time of day. This little know restaurant is run by three sisters who know how to get customers coming... read more

I am part of a medical mission team that comes to Roatan each year about this time. We always start off the trip with a team dinner at the Lobster Pot on arrival day. All week long we will have our team breakfast at the Lobster Pot as well. The sisters who own and operate the restaurant do a fabulous... More

Just back from Roatan for a two week vacation. This was our home for 4 years and The Lobster Pot was and is our favorite restaurant on the island. The owners, 3 sisters, Lorna, Elizabeth and Stella are just good people. The dining area is on a large porch to the front of their home with nothing to the front... More

While in Roatan to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary, we ate at the Lobster Pot and loved the setting, the food and the staff. This was an early dinner during the week, low season and we were the only people there. Quite romantic, candlelight dinner, and they gave us a complimentary slice of key lime pie because it was our... More

During our trip to Roatan, we stayed at the Villas Del Playa, which is next door to the Lobster Pot Restaurant. We had two really great experiences with this restaurant. The first was when we needed someone to cook a Mahi Mahi that we caught on a fishing excursion. When we ran over to ask them they where very enthusiastic... More

We decided to check out the Lobster Pot and technically they were closed for their regular menu but were serving some local cuisine that was awesome. This included local tamales and some great chicken and rice dishes all prepared by the local employees. We also met a great Canadian couple, Stan and Joan who were now living on Roatan and... More

The lobster salad was good It eas served on a bed of lettuce however, it could have had more lobster. The fish burger (grilled) was wonderful. It had a thick piece of snapper with fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and grilled onions. The bun was also grilled. The burger was served with French fries which were also very good. The Lobster... Was probably the beat food we had while on the island. The coconut shrimp is fantastic & so are Monkey Lala's. The warm bread u get with dinner is to die for (we asked for & got a 2nd loaf) Fish dishes were also wonderful. The 3 sisters who run the place are great & are always around to answer... More

My wife had sauteed calamari with coconut rice and loved it! I had chicken alfredo and it was really excellent. We each had a beer and didn't have room for the included lime pie, so took that to go. It was very good. Both meals including drinks, service and taxes came to $40. One of the sisters was very engaging... More
