Great locals and local cuisine surprise.

We decided to check out the Lobster Pot and technically they were closed for their regular menu but were serving some local cuisine that was awesome. We decided to check out the Lobster Pot and technically they were closed for their regular menu but were serving some local cuisine that was awesome. The lobster salad was good It eas served on a bed of lettuce however, it could have had more lobster. The fish burger (grilled) was wonderful. It had a thick piece of snapper with fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and grilled onions. The bun was also grilled. The burger was served with French fries which were also very good. The Lobster... Was probably the beat food we had while on the island. The coconut shrimp is fantastic & so are Monkey Lala's. The warm bread u get with dinner is to die for (we asked for & got a 2nd loaf) Fish dishes were also wonderful. The 3 sisters who run the place are great & are always around to answer... More

My wife had sauteed calamari with coconut rice and loved it! I had chicken alfredo and it was really excellent. We each had a beer and didn't have room for the included lime pie, so took that to go. It was very good. Both meals including drinks, service and taxes came to $40. One of the sisters was very engaging... More

First, here is how to find this place: Head South out of the West End. The road will turn from paved to a dirt road. You will pass Sueno del Mar. You will come to a white fence as the turn to the left as that is where the road goes. There is even a sign that points the Lobster... More

Wondering around the West End we saw signs for the Lobster Pot restaurant but couldn’t actually find the place so we called to get directions and are glad we did. From the far west end of the road on the West End, you can either walk down the beach or drive the dirt road like we did. If you drive,... More

I had a salad, my friend got the lobster because it sounded so good. It was chewy and tasted fishy. The salad was as good as a salad gets. The garlic bread was good. The key lime pie was average. The food was not worth the cost of the meal.

Located on the beach right next door to our condo, Villa de Playa was The Lobster Pot. Run by the three Watler sisters this restaurant has wonderful outdoor seating, cold beer and wine with featuring grilled lobster, steak and chicken entrees with incredible side dishes and an "Island lime" pie made by pastry chief little sister Stella that will knock... This is a hidden jewel located on the far side of West End. It's a quant little spot on the beach. The kitchen is a small non-industrial one. Only a coupe of tables and food is made to order. We had lobster, calimari, and shrimp combo. It was great. Drinks were also good. Very quite really cool spot.
