Friendly owners that serve great food.

I really enjoyed this place. We just happen to walk by Lawson's Rock and saw the sign for Fish and Chips. Whether you would like to drink some coffee, have a fulfilling lunch, have a drink from the bar or have a great meal when you wake up this is a place to go. They also have lots of TVs... read more

Oh my...stepped into the newly renamed Victorias Sports Bar in Lawson Rock with new owners and a great sadness fell upon me. The new American owner is an ex Navy officer who has not a clue as to what is good and delicious about Roatan food. Namely he states there is no fresh fish to be had in Roatan...except lionfish.... I was looking forward to dinner after reading the good reviews. Our first disappointment was no fresh fish on the menu. We were told by our waiter, you can't get fresh fish on the island??? We had been eating fresh fish all week! The salad was fresh and tasty but the mains were something you would get in a fast... More

I sincerely hope that Adrian and his wife are still running the Hungry Kiwi, and haven't left the island. This is a wonderful place that serves excellent breakfast and the most lovely dinner prepared with the best ingredients on the island. Great value and a nice change from island food!

We did not get around to having dinner at the lovely restaurant but did go in for a Chai Tea Latte. - The owner was friendly and speaks personally to all his patrons. I asked if there was any Chai Tea as I did not see it on the menu and he said he would make some especially for my... More

The only place to eat and drink in Lawson Rock Development. Very nice decor and unusual food choices. Good for lunch or dinner, even for a business meeting.

We had breakfast here a couple of times during our stay. It was really the only place within walking distance for breakfast, but we would have come here anyway as the food was well-prepared, they have air conditioning, and as an added bonus they have wifi internet access available for their patrons at no additional charge (a lot of the... They are only open for lunch and breakfast and it is the only place walking distance in Lawson Rock, the food is not Fantastic, average I would say. Prices are not related to the food quality. Coffee is god.

Coming here for many years. Though ownership changed over the years,The current owner has been here last 2 seasons. Good salads and wraps for lunch. we have eaten dinner here as well and good dining though not fancy. The wine selections are very reasonably priced
