Best place for coffee, bagels and sweet treats!

Great little cafe right on the corner of the main square/plaza by the big, famous Otavalo market. Bonnie, the owner, is an awesome lady from the States who is dedicated to her customers and ensuring they have a great dining experience, even if you're just perched at one of the sleek bar stools in... read more

Excellent cafe negro doble.I did not try any other coffees as I only drink double shot espresso. The banana/nut loaf was fresh and moist.A great kerbside gathering spot which can get a littte crowded.Especially good for people watching on Wednesday.s.

As usual you can't use larger notes do rake change but the coffee is really good ehich us a bonus in Ecuador ! For a coffee producing country it's hard to find real coffee , even in restaurants the locals prefer Nescafé and hot milk? This place does real coffee and a great location .,

Had an iced mochachino, which was very good. only have about 5 stools, but sits across from the park, so has a nice view while you are sipping. also bought some chia seeds. they have a buy 10 get one free card as an incentive to come back, which i will do the next time I'm in Otavalo.

Only chance I've had to get good Western style coffee in Ecuador. Nice setting on the squarer for people watching. Bring change though! They can't often break a $10 note.

For some, the daily grind, is synonymous with a boring work routine. When we knew we were returning to Otavalo, my first question was "Is the Daily Grind still in business?" Thankfully, it is and doing what they do best two years after I first discovered them. Even though we will only be here five days, I took one of... More

Located near corner of main square with just a few bar stools situated in the open air on edge of pavement. Had good snacks and morning coffee then returned later for freshly made sandwiches and drinks. Friendly staff and place to people watch as you drink your coffee. Did not notice any bar upstairs at time of our visit (March... More

After almost 2 years since my initial first review of The Daily Grind. It is nice now to be able to write another review. Not much has changed with The Daily Grind since my last visit. The coffee is still excellent as is the service provided by the baristas. One major change that is happening is the opening of a... More

The Daily Grind is a great place to grab a cup of good coffee in Otavalo. I love how the stools and the counter are set up just off the sidewalk. It's a perfect place to sit and watch the people pass through Parque Bolivar, or to practice your Spanish by chatting with the barista. So far, this is the... More

Nice coffee on one of the prettier plazaá in Otavalo. American run, it´s a small place with bar style seating. I overheard the lady saying she is opening a bar upstairs soon
