This is by far the best restaurant in Otavalo. You can sit in the cosy restaurant or outside on a stunning garden patio. The menu is varied, organic, and delicious and affordable. The staff is perfect. I cannot recommend it enough - and sometimes they even bring in local traditional music. I ate all of my meals here.

Not far from the Plaza de los Ponchos is this lovely hacienda. Owned by an American, the menu features Ecuadorean fare and light sandwiches - a mix of Otavalo and San Francisco at excellent prices!

We stayed at the hotel for two nights in December and ended up eating most of our meals here because the food was so good and the menu so varied. As a vegetarian I loved having so many options. There is really something for everyone. Maggie, the owner, is terrific. I would absolutely recommend the restaurant to anyone visiting Otavalo... More

The owner is hands on and invested in providing the best food and experience. We definitely recommend the Pachama Cafe at La Posada del Quinde.

This cafe is well priced with some of the tastiest food we have experienced at any hotel in Ecuador. We ate all our meals here as the food and ambiance was so perfect. You can dine by the fireplace or sit by the window and enjoy the lovely gardens and birds. The selection of foods is great and the proportions... More

Located in the beautiful La Posada del Quinde, this restaurant offers a variety of foods for any weary traveler. The restaurant is on the main floor of the hotel that is decorated with a variety of local art and crafts that you can buy as well as a very inviting fireplace/sitting area. Vegetarian options are great, to include the Cheese... More

I stayed at this hotel with a volunteer group and ate the food every day and not a single person didn't enjoy it. Lots to choose from with plenty of vegetarian options. Don't forget to order dessert, the cookie is to die for!

I had the Chicken Pot Pie and Quinoa Encrusted Shrimp at the Pachamama Cafe. All bites tasted as good as the first one - they're meals you dream about but can't have until you return for another visit. Thanks Maggie and staff for excellent menu choices.

We had dinner 3 times in Cafe Pachamama during our stay in Otavalo and thoroughly enjoyed every meal. The menu was imaginative and the good sized portions were fresh, well prepared and delicious. The service was spot on - pleasant and timely. The chocolate cookie and ice cream dessert is a delight not to be missed. Well worth a visit.
