Hotel is hard to find but restaurant is worth the search

We were at the market on Saturday and asked an American shopkeeper for a recommendation for dinner and this was his place. The menu was a good mix of Ecuadorean dishes with a bit of a California twist. I would definitely recommend for dinner, and the breakfast menu looked delicious as well.

A great meal, attentive service, and a relaxed atmosphere made this a delightful visit. There is also a garden if you prefer to eat outside and the wi-fi connection was stable and very fast, neither of which is a given in Ecuador. I would go back again.

Went here for dinner one night because of all the great reviews. The atmosphere was nice and there was a fire going which helped the space feel warm and cozy. The food was a little underwhelming for the price. We had the quinoa encrusted shrimp and the goat cheese & tomato tartlet. They were both OK but we were expecting... More

We have been traveling in Ecuador for a while and were in Otavalo today for the weekly market. After shopping for a few hours it was time for lunch and our guide took us here. We are vegetarians and although this is not a vegetarian restaurant there was a lot for us to eat. It was all very good and... More

All of the food on the menu was delicious. However, I'd have to say my favorites were the cheese empanadas, handmade pizza, stuffed green bell pepper, and the molten hot chocolate chip cookie with a giant scoop of vanilla ice cream on top! I give Maggie and all of the staff props for the diverse food of excellent quality!

The food is fantastic. This restaurant is worth going to even if you aren't staying in the Hotel. Everything on the menu is great especially the Chocolate Chip cookie for dessert. Food is not all traditional, so you can get a more home style meal if you would like. Breakfast is great and should never be missed.

The food here was so delicious. It was semi american with an ecuadorian twist. The food was always amazingly fresh and everything on the menu tastes delicious. I would recommend this to everyone.

We stayed at the hotel where this restaurant is situated, so we ate here quite a bit. The food is excellent and the staff are nice and friendly. For lunches I really enjoyed the soups and the vegetarian sandwiches. I am not a vegetarian, but these sandwiches are excellent. The cream of broccoli soup was probably the best I have... More

Great place to hang out for breakfast lunch and dinner. We kept saying we should try somewhere else in town but the food is so good here why bother!

We had stopped in and met Maggie this week and asked the hours of the restaurant. She said "I hope to see you soon,." When we returned the next night, she was not working. We were concerned we would miss dinner hours getting there at 7:45pm. When we arrived, the doors were closed, but we noticed a bell on the... More
