Good food, nice atmosphere. Close to the market. No negatives to this one. Felt very welcoming there. Might be a bit over priced but not bad for a treat.

I had dinner here a Friday night, the food was OK, not exceptional, but nothing to fault either. There was live music, but the ambience was a little lost, with 3 or 4 big tour groups. A good option in Otavalo, but you have to put up with the noise of the "gringo" tour groups.

We bring almost all of our volunteer groups to Mi Otavalito for a first lunch. We order ahead, and the meals are always ready when we arrive and well organized. Good local dishes.

My husband and I stopped in here for lunch while running some errands. It's a more expensive restaurant than the typical for an "amuerzo", but it is also above average and worth the price. We had very good food and service and were both pleased with our meals which included appetizer of ham torte; bean soup; main course of stewed... More

This is one of our favorite places near Cotacachi. The beef, chicken, and pork dishes are consistently flavorful and good meat. They serve many expats as well as locals and all find a friendly, well attended, good food service. Try the Chateau Briande(sp?)for a very tasty "carne de rez".

A warm, cozy and friendly Ecuadorean restaurant. Extremely clean, fresh food, happy staff. Nice menu options - cold beer and full bar. I had a wonderful chicken breast in mushroom sauce with fries. The best meal I had in Otavalo in 4 days!

Excellent Soup and Ceviche starters, followed by Chicken and Beef main courses left us waddling contentedly back to our hotel for an afternoon siesta! The local Ecuadoran Pilsner beer is light and and fresh and very easy to drink.

We stumbled on this restaurant in Quito. The location was convenient. The place was quaint and had local character. The "chatobrand" was delicious and very inexpensive. The trucha was also delicious. Service was most pleasant.

We had had the most horrific Night Bus to Otavalo and so at 08.30 am we scoured the streets for a tasty breakfast, we couldnt have been more spot on! We had to convince ourselves that eating pig so early was OK but hey, do as the locals do (and we eat bacon at home, which is pig!). For 2USD... More

The restaurant looks nice - it's very clean and nicely decorated and the tables are all set with plates and glasses. The owners are really friendly. We got cooked corn when we sat down. The chefs salad was really nice (about $5) and the cut of the meat for the BBQ pork (about $8) was great. The only downside was... More
