Had dinner at Tratoria Piccolo this evening after reading the reviews here. Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, this place has a nice ambiance and welcoming staff. The restaurant was VERY quiet when we were there. Waiter was very attentive, bordering on overly attentive, seeking to take our orders only a minute or two after having given us the very... More

We dined at TPM on July 3, 2014. Very, very friendly and competent wait staff. Owner/maître was very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good to excellent. Nicely made pasta, fresh fish and salads!

Nice atmosphere and pretty good food, but very low value for the money. Pretty common in Guayaquil, but we left the restaurant feeling a bit gouged after paying the bill. Would have been really disappointed for the meal we ate at the price we paid had we been in pretty much any other city.

Had the opportunity to dine at the Trattoria Piccolo Mondo in Guayaquil, Ecuador and was very impressed with the ambiance, the music, the service but most importantly the food. The gastronomic experience in this restaurant is the point to share ... seafood to perfection and italian dishes to die for! The owner of the restaurant personally greets you and ensures... More

I recently had lunch with my father at this trattoria and was quite taken by the great food and service. We had an antipasto with cured meats and cheeses that really stood out because they it also had nuts and honey. My father had a lasagna to die for and my rissotto was cooked to perfection. The waiter was really... More

We were not expecting much when we were being taken by our local friends to an Italian restaurant - as media people we travel a lot for our work and have had experience of some pretty good restaurants from all over the globe. However, we were pleasantly surprised. Our friends knew the owner who was our host and we had... More

I had the lobster ravioli in white wine sauce and the flavor was out of this World. This is my favorite restaurant in Guayaquil.

The Ravioli in scuttlefish ink is fantastic. One of the best Italian meals in the city, which is something hard to find in Guayaquil

My wife and I just returned from a week in Galapagos (at Iguana Crossing), and after having eaten so much lobster there that we can't look at another crustacean on a plate for awhile, we chose this place for a taste of Ecuadorian/Italian. We were favorably impressed. We ordered the prosciutto di Parma with melon which was delicious, especially the... More
