Good place for lunch and dinner

I have eaten both lunch and dinner at the Monica on many occasions , it is one of the best if not the best restaurants in Trogir, the courtyard is best in the summer months but it also has a fine indoors area for the cold winter nights. Food is great and they have an extensive wine list, enjoy !!!

We picked this restaurant at random, mostly because it was a bit secluded away from the busy streets lower down in the old city, but also because of the delicious smell of grilled sardines that was starting to make its way into the street. As we sat down, only a few tables had guests, and it stayed that way throuhgout... More

The food we had was excellent, and there is really good choice on the menu for people on a wide range of budgets. However, the service was not great, the staff were pleasant and did deal with any request well, but we did not feel they were particularly attentive. I always think the sign of good service is when staff... More

One of the many very turistic places in old city of Trogir , but yet very cozy and cute place. The staff are friendly but professional. The food is fresh and very delicious prepared in front of you. The prices are reasonable. Recomended for private experience in a crowded turistic place.

I broke my rule and went into a courtyard which was shaded( much needed) having seen a photo board. The squid was grilled whole uncleaned which never adds much to the taste. The kitchen seemed preoccupied with the standard coach party menu. This was my mistake but if you read this don't make the same one.

We were very positively surprised by this restaurant which we picked by random. Excellent fried calamaris and cevapcicis. The food is grilled in front of you. Staff was very friendly and competent. A must try

We had a meal at the Restaurant Monika last night, our first of three days at the hotel Monika. The ambience in the terrace was quite special and as other reviewers have said it's nice to see them cook the food in front of you. It was really reasonable and we had the Genghis Khan dish which is a barbecue... More

We nearly didn't stop here as your first view of the restaurant is a rather soulless main room. However it had been recommended to us so we went in and then saw the terrace outside- delightful. Lovely tree cover, good atmosphere and you can watch the Chef cook on the outdoor grill. We ate here twice and were not disappointed.... More

We were attracted by the barbeque smell from this restaurant. One of us had mixed grill which was fantastic. Two had fish skewers which were ok and one risotto di mare which was awful. If you go there go for the barbequed meet!
