Great food,excellent service

We went to this restourant at the end of septemer following a recommendation. It has amazing atmosphere. Food was amazing and very well presented by waiter. We had T-bone stake that was outstanding. Definitly Alka is one of the best restaurants in Trogir.

We went to Alka for a late luncheon on rainy Saturday afternoon. Alka is located in „restaurant quarter, surrounded by other (less expensive) restaurants, squeezed between old Dalmatian stone houses which provides nice Mediterranean ambiance. We really wanted some blue fish, but were told that they ran out of it. Unfortunately they also ran out of famous wine, Postup, while... More

Restaurant Alka is one exception among many similar restaurants. Nice terrace, fresh delicious food, and a service for recommendation. Definetely would love to eat there again.

During a one week stay in Trogir we ate in Alka restaurant twice choosing the rooftop terrace in preference to the street level garden area and were recognised by the waiter who made us very welcome. Bearing in mind how busy the restaurant is and the number of people he sees the fact that he remembered our drinking choices was... More

This was the second and by far the better of two restaurants recommended by the clerk of our hotel. Each of the four of us enjoyed the meals we ordered. The waiter recommended an outstanding local red Zinfandel wine. It ended up being half of our entire bill but was worth it.

We went here following a recommendation. I'm not sure we would have found it, or realised that it had a lovely terrace otherwise. Anyway, we were tired, having arrived at Split airport at 8pm, but the food, wine, service, and the setting was a wonderful introduction to Croatia! The terrace feels a million miles away from the busy, hot alleys... More

We got there just as dinner service was starting up so at first the service was slow (we were given one menu then it took ages for the 2nd one to come, then took a while to get our order taken), BUT after we got over that hurdle we had the best time! We sat up on a small pretty... More

This restaurant was recommended in a guide book. It is more pricey that the others in the area and you need to dress up a bit more to go there but the food is amazing. I had a steam which was fabulous. The service is good and the gran setting outside is wonderful. There is a terrace upstairs that is... More

Beautiful food, wonderful service and lovely atmosphere within the old city walls. But when we came tp pay they advised they don't take MasterCard. Embarrassing few minutes whilst hubby found hole in the wall. Short-sighted on the managements part

We really enjoyed visiting this restaurant. The food was great, the service too! We sat outside in the "garden" area. Was lovely under the night sky. Highly recommend dining here if you are visiting Trogir.
