The service and food are very good at the Mali Raj which is just of the beaten track in the old town in Rovinj. We visited twice as the food was good value and the house wine was very drinkable. We had the pork dishes as well as the lasagne and we couldn't complain about the quality of the food.

We were here on our last evening and it was a disappointment. The athmosphere is nice and the service is okay, but the meals are nothing special. Pljeskavica and the steak is fine, but the pastas have no taste at all and the place itself is overpriced for this.

My wife and I dined here while vacationing in Rovinj last month. We had been walking all over the central part of the city and noticed that their terrace was very crowded, and it smelled delicious too (always good signs). We made a reservation for later that evening... We arrived right on time (9pm) and our table was the only... More

The pasta and the risotto was great and the price was good! The staff was nice and friendly! We where hear during lunch in july. It looks nice from outside with a green roof on a smal street.

Found this place quite by chance, exploring the back streets of the old town. Excellent food and setting. Not sure what restaurant the previous reviewers went to - this was by far the best fish plate for two we've had for the price. Super attentive service, great setting, delicious food. Highly recommended for above average holiday food.

Unfortunately the tagliatelle with scampi was a massive letdown, it was soggy, overcooked and tasteless. Beware the green salad or tomato salad is served very literally. Nice and welcoming staff, good location and the bread saved the day!

We were staying at Trevisol Apt's for 5 nights and decided to dine at this family restaurant with a couple we had met on the bus in Piran who was also going to Rovinj. Great company........terrific food. I had the lasagne, he had grilled squid......they had Istrian Risotto and turkey cutlet with vegetables. We all had something to drink........and we... More

We had the worst meal so far this trip. Both the mushroom and the fish soup tasted like packet soup. My seafood pasta was inedible. Tasted like sauce out of a jar but not even as good as that. Hubby had truffle pasta, also horrid. Mixed salad just plain sliced toms cucumber and cabbage. Boring. To their credit they did... More

To MrsBWestonsuperMare First of all thank you for your terrible review! It is very disrespectful to say that the food that you and your' hubbie'ate at our restaurant was inedible! YOU FORGOT TO MENTION THAT YOU ATE EVERYTHING THAT WAS PUT IN FRONT OF YOU! The soups are freshly cooked every single day, a salad is a bowl of fresh... More
