We arrived to Rovinj on New years eve. We were looking for a restaurant where we'll wait New year but everything was already booked. We found Giannino on tripadvisor and we got table for two there, because someone cancelled in the last minute. The owner welcomed us and explained that they already have set menu for the whole night. He... More

The restaurant was recommended to us by a local. It is somewhat off the main tourist drag and in a very quiet location. We sat indoors as it was very cold in the evening when we were there. The ambience was warm and homely - it wasn't crowded as it was off season but we saw quite a number of... More

Base on my own experience .. Its better to have a good look to menu price list , and to ask about total service and tax before you eat.. the food is OK But try not to eat late evening!!

A friendly welcome on a rainy night from a genial host, a comfortable corner table for four (smoking is permitted outside) and some really excellent food. Good seafood, outstanding truffle pasta, fresh salads and a very interesting wine list. If we had been staying longer we would have gone back again. Highly recommended.

We received a wonderful welcome from a member of staff that appeared to be fluent in at least 4 languages in that he was conversing with 4 different tables in 4 different languages. It is predominately an Italian/Fish restaurant as the name implies. The food is inherently simple but well cooked. our only criticism would be it was expensive for... More

A fabulous leisurely lunch during the fall shoulder season. Great, pasta with truffles, a local fish and local wine. Capped of with a local grappa after the reasonable 880 Kuna bill for 2. Might be back for dinner!

This restaurant can be found in the smaller streets at the harbour end of town. There's an outside eating space opposite the restaurant but try to get a table inside if you can. The staff are really friendly, helpful and polite. The food was mainly seafood and fantastic. I'd recommend the shrimp/prawns for starters - pan fried with a little... More

Takes a little finding being set away from main hub of restaurants, but the journey is worthwhile. Set in a cosy backstreet a restaurant of ambience and quality specialising in excellent seafood with great service.

Not in the tourist ground zero area but easy to walk to, and worth doing so. This restaurant is in a quiet pedestrian street in a real neighbourhood, and is favoured by the locals as where to eat seafood. Eat inside or al fresco. There seems to be wifi but not used. The seafood is very fresh - we saw... More
