Reliable good

When you arriving or leaving Poreč your first or last meal should be in Kažeta since they have regularly good food. Not to many inovation though. But the Istrian pasta (pljukanci) with prsutto and rocket salad are great!!!

I have been in Kažeta several timesmostly because the atmosphere ispleasan, so as the staf, and because of Istarska maneštra od bobići or Istrian soup with corn, beans and lots of dill, and because of Pljukanci (istrian pasta) with prosciutto. Eating those dishes I always now that I cannot be wrong. However, I would be glad if they try to... More

Adequate but not up to the standards that we expect in Istria. The truffle pasta was more oily than truffly. Veal medallions were chewy. But the excellent walnut-chocolate palacsinka went a long way to redeem the overall meal experience.

Charming ambience with open fireplace, friendly and helpful staff, perfect food (I can recommend istrian minestrone, steak with trufles and chocolate cake which are all to die for) and very reasonable prices. One of the best meals ever.

I love Istria in the autumn and winter; the crowds are long gone, and the places that remain open are the special ones, the ones that the locals like. The Konoba Kazeta is just such a place, with an open fire, and great Istrian food. The hand carved smoked ham was perfect, the bread was bed-of-feathers soft and of course... More

We have been to this restaurant every time we come to Croatia! It is the best! The staff are so friendly and nice. The food is brilliant. We had cured meats to start and was delicious. For mains we had steaks, (kazeta steak is the best, steak filled with cured ham and tasty cheese) the sautéed potatoes are the best!... More

The menu is mainly meat but perfect. The chips are homemade and the best. The service is great, they can't do enough for you and it is so clean. You get a plate of free cakes after your meal.

We have been using this restuarant for 7 years. The lady that runs it is so lovely. The food is always perfect, the menu is not huge, I don't think they have fish, but it is amazing. It is always quite busy but very relaxed atmosphere. You can sit outside in the summer and inside by the fire in the... More
