We were there with family who live in Porec. You are usually served well when with locals anywhere you go. Food was wonderful, location and atmosphere very nice. It's a local hangout so it is definitely on the recommendation list. Fish was great, pizza succulent, pastas good but didn't care much for the squids in my salad

We ate here on a busy Saturday, I think we were fooled a little (our fault) the waiter/greeter recommended the most expensive things on the menu - the fish baked in salt, which was good, but it was pretty expensive, This was our dearest meal of the 2 weeks in Porec, and nowhere near the best.

The problem is: we ordered our meal waited for 45 minutes but they bring us pate and half peace of bread As a starter even we didn't order it, but that made us happy. The meal was delicious but small portion. At the and we saw on the bill they have charged us starter and that made us angry. I... More

Cardo is under the same ownership as Divino and Gourmet. It specialises in fresh fish - lovely setting in a square just a little back from the harbour but very busy in the evening so still atmospheric. Great waiter service - very professional.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal here. Succulent tender steak with truffle sauce and a superb shrimp rissotto got our holiday off to a great start for eating out of our hotel. Excellent service. Lots of outdoor seating that's enclosed within the traditional back streets of porec. Recommend!

You have to differentiate between two restaurants with almost the same name: Cardo and Cardo Gourmet. We were in Cardo Gourmet which seems to be the better choice! A modern designed interior, but feeling well inside, a excellent commited waiter(Robert) with perfect hints for daily specialities and suggesting a fine wine too. We had yellow boletus slices grilled and with... More

A busy restaurant with large portions but food was mixed. Starter - Octopus salad was shared and was delicious but then had mixed reviews with the main. Main - Meat platter for 2. It was a lot of meat and included sides. The beef and sides were great. We could have done with more sides to balance or a sauce... More

Ridiculous attempt at trying to pass for an up market restaurant. The service was incredibly slow and the food portions extremely meagre! The expression "you get what you pay for" unfortunately does not apply here. Prices are exorbitant to say the least. There is a mandatory cover charge to add insult to injury. I would strongly recommend taking a walk around... More

Nice restaurant in center of old Porec City. With the terrasse on a place, nice to enjoy the fresh air of the evening. Good seafood dishes, seashells, fishes, risotto. Always some ambiance around and good service. After the visit of the Cathedral, nice place to eat and rest.

Try fish baked in salt or in oven wit potatoes. I promise you will want to come back the next time you visit Porec.
