A Konoba is a family run restaurant in Croatia. The people serving are the owners and they might even live on the premises as well.We had to go down an alley with another restaurant hassling for trade off the main drag in Porec. It was worth it.The service was great and we had a good laugh with the waiter. Two of us had... It is generally very difficult to find real fresh fish and especially honest owners/employees. I am used to being told "everything fresh" but then being fed food fish a couple+days old if lucky. This place had super fresh, mouthwatering, mouth-melting and VERY tasty fish and excellent squids. I am convinced that everything else they have is amazing too. The decor... More

I got this restaurant from trip advisor. It's truly the best restaurant i have been. Great pasta and streak!! Good wine. For the location you have to do your research. It's not in the main street.

Konoba Aba is small and very pleasant restaurant in the middle of old city of Porec where I tasted very good pasta, very good grill and excellent steak. I was there few times and always very satisfied. During the summer you need a reservation.

We were wandering the back streets of Porec, near the Basilica, and saw this place at the back of the alley. It had good vibes, and we had a delightful lunch there! It was so good, in fact, that we went back to our lodging place near Vizinada to look it up on Trip Advisor. What a pleasant surprise to... More

This is a small little restourant, in an amazing place the old town of Porec, historic and romantic athmosfere. I have eaten here many times and never been disapointed. If you are expecting a high rank restorant don't, the food is delicious but it's a family run restorant, and it's good because of that. They are very friendly and you... More

Amazing food at a very reasonable price for the taste and quality. We started by sharing calf liver with tasty rice with vegetables (tender liver and a perfect side). I ordered the whole grilled sea bass with traditional potatoes and greens (tasty, juicy, delicious fish), and my husband enjoyed pasta with beef and truffles. Our hostess – wife of the... More

one of the better restaurants in Porec, mid price range and excellent friendly service. Excellent grilled fish and anchovy salad. Outdoor seating a bit lacking in atmosphere and indoor seating is limited

My wife and I shared the scampi risotto, fillet of beef, and mixed salad. All were top notch as was the service. This little place is a jewel. The prices were very reasonable. Keep looking until you find it - you won't be disappointed.

This small restaurant is in a most unusual setting, full of charm and atmosphere. We were a party of 9 choosing a wide variety of dishes on the menu and satisfaction was expressed by all.The restaurant is family run and fully deserves its high reputation for quality and service. You will not be disappointed.Well recommended.
