I think this restaurant tries to cover all tastes. Whilst the 2 dinners I had here were ok. (Grilled Trout & Grilled Squid). The accompanying vegies were somewhat off putting. There was a lot of emphasis on creamy sauces. As the restaurant has a captive "audience" I dont think providing quality, simple food is high on their agenda. Good food... More

We were a group of 12 park rangers visiting the National Park (busman's holiday) and staying 3 nights in the adjacent Bellevue Hotel. We had initially booked B&B but decided to add an evening meal option at 12 euros per person. We went to the restaurant around 8pm each evening when tour groups were vacating the restaurant so it was... More

Tour group central That was the feel and tone of this eatery. If you are not with a group, just try to choose your own private table on the quiter periphery of this large room and see waht happens! If it rains and you are subsequently alone at lunch here, the peace may rejuvinate you somewhat. I am done. The... More

I agree with Meghan's review- the food for the half board was just OK. Nothing great. Edible & that was about it. I too wish we had ordered from the menu. We went down at 7pm when the restaurant opened but there was already huge tour groups there. It took us almost 2 hours to get our entire meal since... More

delicious food, great service, reasonable prices, quick service, very neat and clean. After spending half day in national park we were very hungry and landed in this restaurant. We were not staying in this hotel and there was no buffet when we arrived. So we ordered plenty of dishes including soup, pasta, risotto, grilled turkey, desserts. They customized it to... More

We booked the half board with our room. For the price, it was ok, and there isn't much else around the hotel anyway. Looking back, though, I might have spent a little more to be able to order off of the regular menu which looked a bit better than our prix fixed meal.

we were bunch of tourists from India. after the hike through the park, we were soaked up in the sun and landed up hungrily at the hotel for lunch. the buffet lunch was already ordered. the waiters were not courteous.. food was just shoved on the table and they were just a bunch of racists. we did not feel like... Catering to several large groups of travelers made the dining room a bit hectic but the food was simple and good. Lunch was quiet as most were hiking the trails around the Park. Pasta dishes very good, grilled trout good and good Croatian wine.

The evening we arrived we had no choice but to eat the Hotel Restaurant. The restaurant is not bad, but far from great. The prices are a bit inflated, but the choices on the menu are pretty good. Poljana Restaurant that is close by has pretty much the same menu but better prices.

It is a very large room with the majority of hotel guests eating there. The service was adequate considering the number of people they fed in a short period of time. Due to the decor and food offered, I felt like i was in a 1970s flashback. My entree of asparagus with hollandaise sauce, was not fresh asparagus as i... More
