We went to this restaurant, because we looked Anthony Bourdain – No reservation and he was very pleased with food in this restaurant… The starter ''Motovun plate for 2'' (cheese, cheese with truffles, olives, ham, …) was outstanding and for reasonable price. The house wine Malvazija was also very good. But that is all… The homemade gnocchi on Mediterranean style... More

Sat on one of the outdoor terraces for lunch. Food, including speciality of the house handmade ravioli with parn and shaved truffles, was outstanding. Great view of the cobbled street and distant landscape. Service was solid.

We had a truly lovely time at this charming little place. We went on a Sunday evening for dinner so the restaurant was not busy and we got a table right away. If you don't like truffles you probably don't want to go here because that is what they do well and you can smell it as soon as you... More

We came here based on TripAdvisor reviews, and were lucky to get a table outside for lunch. For starters we had carpaccio and cod pate with truffles - the meat in the carpaccio was very cold with frozen bits in it... The homemade gnocchi was very tough, and the acidic tomato sauce killed the taste of the truffles completely. The... More

The taste of the pasta is been awful, and the pasta is been overcooked, cooked without salt... Meat: dry and poor, the Waiter(woman)-no coment... This is my worst experience in my life-this is the fist time I sad to the waiter what I think of the food-and I hope so the last.... When I come back at my home I told my friend... More

Once we were travelling through the Istrian backyards for a couple of days, we were used to eat traditional istrian products. The starters "Motovun plate" (orig. cheese, ham etc) was outstanding. The risotto with truffels as prima piatti aswell. The main course (meat) was poor and dry :-( Good service staff focused on regional products. Try the San Servolo beer... More

I didn't think much of this to be honest. It looked lovely from the outside but they kept us waiting so long. They could have given us a beer/wine and then we wouldn't have minded the wait.

We went to Motovun for the afternoon and were using Rick Steve's guide to this beautiful little hill town. He recommends Mondo in his book, so we thought we would try it even though I wanted to sit at the top of the hill at a café with a more spectacular view of the valley. I'm so glad we went... More

Great sevice, nice location, simple food prepared with skill. Very nice meals with truffles with very affordable price. The most expensive dish is 20€. Prices in inland Istria are something cheaper then on the coast but when it comes to experience the inland is much much better. We will come again, thank you guys!
