We went to this restaurant based on our Lonely Planet guidebook description. We found the location to be absolutely lovely, a terrace below the church steeple, very romantic. The menu was interesting, and the food was acceptable, though not wildly exciting. The main impression that we were left with was staff, waiters and manager, that were indifferent, dismissive, superior, "too... More

Ate there last night with 3 others. We all ordered the white fish, assured it was fresh. There seemed to be 2 types of fish, one possibly a tuna steak, the other a rubbery, lumpy fish with a lot of bones. Great service and a beautiful location however i started vomiting about 3 h later and was sick non-stop all... More

We ate here for dinner one night in May, and did not like it at all. I ordered braised beef with dumplings (gnocchi-like) and gravy, supposedly a traditional dish in Croatia. The meat was tough and leathery. Also, no flavor. The food reminded me of a military MRE (packaged food served to soldiers in the field). When I complained, the... More

Konoba Adio Mare is a family run restaurant in the heart of the old town. There is a beautiful terrace in the back, from where you can occasionally even hear the real church choir singing in the main square. The menu is eclectic, but one can definitely find something interesting. This is one of the best places to taste some... More

good restaurant and reputedly one of the best in Korcula for fish. they have an inpressive menus and the fish was very good (we had a giant Sea Bass big enough for 2 to share) You can also sit outside on the terrace on the roof and it is lovely. However most of the waiters are irritating in their cockiness.... More

We didn't get time to visit Adio Mare when we visited Korcula in August, so when we went back in October Adio Mare was the first restaurant we visited. Although it was 'out of season' there were still plenty of people eating in there. Although it was late the staff were more than happy to serve us. I had squid... More

We visited this restaurant having read a review of it in TimeOut's guidebook (incidentally, highly recommended in itself), and weren't disappointed. I had the Scampi Buzzaro, a traditional way of serving the shellfish in a tomato based stew with looooads of bread. Service was quick and friendly and the waiter happily explained any unusual dishes to us. We sat up... More

Nice ambiance and great food in enormous quantities. The local prosciutto could be sliced a bit thinner, but Marco Polo risotto was sublime and the grilled fish was huge and just as great as I expected. If you want room for dessert, I suggest you skip the appetizers. Prices were reasonable for such a prime location and the waiters actually... More

Had a very nice meal at this restaurant in the old town of Korcula. We each had a main dish, the traditional beef with date sauce was amazing, and the seafood risotto was absolutely delicious. The house wine (both red and white) was fine. We were asked if we wanted starters (which were then 12 Kuna each) and the bread... More
