We had a blast here This must be the Croatian version of those American sixties-themed diners. Our waiter, dressed in a wide-sleeved shirt that would make Jack Sparrow jealous, put up a great show: did a shot with us at the table, talked us into ordering the drunken figs, laughed at us for not finishing them, and in short we... This is a very unique restaurant, where you should follow waiters recommendations. Good price/quality ratio. They don't accept reservations!

We went because Lonelyplanet praise this Konobo serving local food renouncing Pizza and Coca Cola. They do. However, it should be pointed out what size the plates are. We would have loved more information. The dishes we tried were tasty but sizes are small. The interior is nice and the waitors where friendly and quick. We had expected more. Beware:... More

This place was recommended by our hotel and proved to be one of the best meals we had in Croatia. The marine-related decor is charming and the food was all very traditional and delicious, with the chef's special (chicken stew the night we were there and was delicious) changeable depending on best produce available at the local markets. The staff... More

A group of 10 of us ate in the upstairs room "family" style with typical Croatian food which was very good (line up outside). Very quaint with stone walls and local decor. Would definitely eat here again.

Very traditional Croation food. Be there early, it fills up quickly. The owner is very friendly. Be aware its cash only and is a bit pricey, but worth it.

Konoba Menego was one of the restaurants recommended by Rick Steeves in his guidebook to Croatia and we're glad he did! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered at this small, family-run restaurant. Our meal was excellent, the room was small but intimate, and Daniella, our waitress and the daughter of the owner, could not have been... More

It seemed to be very promising in the beginning when the owner showed up in front of the large tourists group and claimed that his restaurant id the best. It turned out to be very ugly at the end. The food was average and costly. It was very hot inside the room, I assume the owner is saving quite a... More

Someone strongly recommended us this restaurant. After going, it's good food but not more. Do not believe the ranking. At this price you can easily find better places in hvar.
