great seafood

Located right at the end of the promenade amongst the pines, the setting is very attractive. It's right next to the monastery's church - so the bells are loud! The service was professional and the squid stuffed with feta was wonderful. Very good value.

This restaurant is at the end of the main street in Cavtat so could be easily missed. Lovely setting and at night lamps on the tables outside. It does excellent Barbecue food, We had pork chops and were served 2 huge chops very well cooked served with potatoes and vegetables. They had a large menu and if we had more... More

We had lunch at the Galija and were very impressed - the food was excellent, the service first class and the ambiance/location perfect. We chose the meat platter which was huge and very fresh - I could definitely recommend this.We also had a delicious fish soup starter with freshly home baked bread which was sublime. The value for money was... More

To be honest, most of the restaurants in Cavtat offer decent food. We've visited the resort on 3 separate occasions and have eaten in a majority of the restaurants, and have only ever had one bad meal (Atlas by the Way). However this place just has that something extra. If you order either grilled meat or fish, it is barbecued... More

This place was great and the waitress was lovely. Unfortunately we had just got comfortable when an almighty storm started...we were able to sit under the awning and keep dry - just, although the water was soon ankle deep! Lots of people came to shelter under the cover and soon everyone was mucking in with brooms and brolly poles pushing... More

The weather was abysmal so instead of eating at the open air part of the restaurant on the promenade we went up the side street to the indoor section. The kitchen was downstairs and upstairs was a pleasant lounge with a bbq in the corner. our waiter was excellent. He was helpful, poured the wine when required but didn't hover.... More

The evening when the heavens opened and the skies exploded in some of the worst thunderstorms for ages in the Balkans! The outdoor seating area was unsurprisingly closed so we were guided to the upstairs room just up the sideroad from Hotel Supetar. Made very welcome by most attentive waiting staff - quick drinks service, airy but warm-enough room on... More

We were really looking forward to visiting this restaurant after seeing how pretty it looks all lit up in the evenings, with a lovely menu. When we arrived, however, we were shown to a table for two in the corner, covered with ants. Not a good start, however, we were willing to put this down to al fresco dining amongst... More

Liked vegetable soup, grilled prawns, steak, feta stuffed squid. Liked the house white wine. Liked the ambience and the view. Disliked people smoking at adjoining tables.
