When you walk into the restaurant it looks beautiful. It's surrounded by olive trees, plants and an old stone house. Unfortunately that's about the only positive aspect of this place. We were “greeted” by an incredibly rude lady on the phone snapping her fingers and pointing to a table. We sat down and it didn’t get any better from there.... More

We got married in Bol and chose the Mali Raj restaurant to have a meal with all of our guests the night after the wedding due to all of the positive reviews we'd read and the pictures of the restaurant. There were 60 of us so we had the restaurant to ourselves for the evening. It is in a beautiful... More

I visited this restaurant as part of a very large party, the service was reasonable given this fact and the food was very tasty. We were given a choice of chicken, fish or a vegetarian option with a cherry panacotta for desert. I tried both the chicken and the fish and found them both very tasty and beautifully cooked. The... If in Bol, this is a must. The surroundings are beautiful and worth a visit. A romantic setting for the couple, cosy place for adults and young people, and a place of discovering for the child so all in all a place for everyone ... The food was fresh, tasteful and beautiful presented. We were 8 adults and a child... More

If your visiting Croatia, and your in the area of Trogia, you must pop into the MaliRaj Resturant. For the last few years my wife and I have visited the Resturant for an evening meal. The service is great and very tentative and welcoming. The food is of a high standard and the atmosphere is great! Looking forward to returning... More

We had not booked, so had to wait for 15 minutes. With a fresh lemonade, that was no problem, in this beautiful garden. The grilled chicken and Adriatic squid was just what we wanted, only a bit on the salty side. I was excited to have a glass of white wine, produced right next to the restaurant, and the homemade... Really enjoyable meal, house wine is from the surrounding fields - well worth trying and their own olive oil has a fantastic flavor. Remember to take cash as like a number of other restaurants they do not accept credit cards and it is bit of a walk to the nearest cash machine.

As others that has gone here during the summer of 2014, we were disappointed at the food. We had different dishes, most of them seemed undercooked. The steak - ordered well done, came in rare. The tuna - ordered medium, came in rare/raw in the middle. The grilled solomon x 2, came in. One was perfect, the other one like... More

it is sad that i cannot only post positive accounts, here is actually the worst ever restaurant one could imagine in Croatia. The restaurant is situated just next to the parking /gate of the west side of famous Zlatni Rat beach, so near the camping and nudist beach sections. It has therefore a favourable standalone, the nearest other restaurants are... More
