Yummy!

Those cheese biscuits! Delicious! It was difficult to stop at one so I could save room for my Loaded Mac and Cheese with pulled pork on top. Delicious! Good service. Comfortable setting. Good place to have a meal.

Took my daughter here while visiting Birmingham and Tuscaloosa. We were looking for authentic southern BBQ and got exactly what we were looking for. We are both gluten intolerant and the server was friendly and helpful steering us to house specialties and making sure we were gluten free.

Good size portions and tasty food. Fresh squeezed lemon aid is wonderful. Nice friendly staff. Even though there were very few people in the resturant service was slow.

When we visit our grandson at UAB, this is where we often head to. They have great BBQ, Chicken and other menu items. It is a tasty treat! J&Ms has the typical offerings and more of many BBQ restaurants. Their BBQ sauce (both red and white) are very good. Ribs are delicious, but not the best I have eaten. I... More

Have eaten at Jim & Nicks several times at the Hwy #280 location and was very good. This week we ate the the 5 Point location and found it was not so great. The waiter was not very friendly and never checked back , we always had to flag him down. The BBQ contained some fat, which I had not... More

Only the best BBQ I've ever had and the cheese biscuits are out of this world. I brought some ribs back to Florida for my husband and he ate two pounds all in one seating! Need I say more?

I helped a friend host a rehearsal dinner for her son and future daughter-in-law at The Club at Highland, and Jim 'N Nicks catered the evening. Brandon (Brendan?) managed the evening - first by terrific phone communication, and then he spent quite a bit of time the day before the event actually at the Club at Highland to fully understand... We stopped here on our way home from NOLA and we so glad we did. I ordered the Big Baby Ribs and it was such a huge platter. My husband definitely had to help me finish it. They were perfectly cooked and the slaw and home made chips complimented the meal nicely. My husband ordered the pick 2 plate and... More

You don't hang around for decades if the food is not good and/or it's not perceived as a good value. A BBQ icon on Southside, it's great smoked, traditional Alabama BBQ, some of the best anywhere. I don't give them a 5 simp[ly because it's not MY favorite BBQ. There is a lot of good BBQ in Birmingham.
