We went with another couple;the menu looked good. Ordered the special, bouillabaisse, as did my friend. The serving was quite small, a little fish in a puddle of soup. Four small shrimp, five small mussels, and a morsel of fish was presented lukewarm. My lump of fish was undercooked, and my friend's overdone. I've never had this dish so badly... More

We enjoyed an excellent lunch at this French-bistro style restaurant. The appetizer of kale and egg salad was inventive and delicious. My companion and I each had a different fresh fish entree and enjoyed both. Last but not least, the coconut cake was exceptional. We experienced a slight service problem; Our waiter brought one appetizer out long before the second... More

Great little bistro in the Parisian style. Informal but elegant and welcoming with good service and a great menu and wine list. Go early to get on their list....they don't do reservations and they don't have to. Valet parking greatly appreciated. Daughter liked the escargot and the croque monsieur. I enjoyed the shrimp salad with Grüener Veltliner. A unique experience... More

Frank Stitt, brings the best of France to the U.S. Fun, comfortable, and lively. Great Food without pretense, served by a staff that understands 'Service.'

Went here at lunch time and could not believe how busy it was. Waited 30 mins for a table for 2. It was fairly quiet and cozy to be so busy so that was a plus. Ordered the burger which I had heard was very good and it lived up to billing! My side of mushrooms and onions were great... More

Not only is this a fabulous restaurant for burgers, fish, steak frites, mussels, pate, etc. If you just want a piece of heaven walk in and have one of their desserts. My favorite is the coconut cake. You can't go wrong with any Frank and Pardis Stitt restaurant. Enjoy

Casual atmosphere with delicious food. We met friends there on a very busy evening, though it was mid week. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Excellent.

Chez FonFon is a delightful French cafe nestled in the heart of Five Points, Birmingham. The escargot is a must, trout is out of this world, and the homemade French fries with gourmet mayonnaise are a worthy indulgence. The service is excellent, and the atmoshphere is quaint. My favorite restaurant in my hometown of Birmingham.

This place is the place in Birmingham for a amazing meal in a casual setting. Start with an Orange Thing, Escargot, Trout Almondine and the Coconut Cake. Super dinner.

Six of my friends and I recently celebrated birthdays at this hip French restaurant in Five Points. They do not take reservations so we arrived at 5:30 on a Thursday to make sure we could get a table for 7. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. 6 of the 7 had the crab cakes which they said... More
