I have been going here since i was a little girl i am now 19 and the food is still amazing! I love fifes!
I was impressed with this restaurant. Typical downtown look, but the food inside was beyond my expectations. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the people. Food was very good in my opinion and the sweet tea just perfect. They should bottle it and sell it.
I ate here a bit when I was a student 20 or so years ago. It has not changed. The food is plentiful and better than most typical chain restaurants. It is southern food in all of it's glory or gory. It's not fancy but down home with mostly locals.

The food is great. So much variety and the employees are very nice. Don't go there for the decor, go for the food.
Very impressed with the food. We ate with a group and the price was fantastic. We will go back. Not fancy by any means...but the food tasted great and the people working there were very nice and polite. Just what we wanted!
Want southern food? Fife's has delicious chicken and dumplings, fried green tomatos, cornbread, okra, fried chicken and fish. Oh yeah, they do have salads and vegtables too!
