Fish Market downtown. I have eaten lunch there several times. Great menu variety and the food is good. I have tried fried, grilled, greek and have not been disappointed. Prices are reasonable . Good value. Would recommend .

Went there on a lark because we had reason to go to Birmingham. The website said they get their seafood directly from the Gulf Coast, so I said, what the heck! We both started off with a cup of seafood gumbo. My wife's kind of particular about it, since she's a New Orleans woman who had made a lot of... More

Excellent food, and a little jazz quartet adding to the great atmosphere. Started with clam chowder which was tasty. Jambalaya was very good - large portion with lots of chicken, andouille sausage, and shrimp. Finished with a heavenly piece of cheesecake. Service was prompt and very friendly.

Casual but delicious fish & seafood restaurant with three locations, Hoover, 280 Corridor, and Southside! Service is cafeteria style but the food is delicious! The Southside location serves lunch & is always crowded in a fun sort of way. Can be noisy!!

Fish Market is one of Birmingham's best known restaurants, for three reasons. The food is always of excellent quality, the price is reasonable, and the menu is quite extensive. There are usually several daily specials as well. There are some unusual things on the menu, one of my favorites is either shrimp or scallops in a chickpea and spinach mixture,... More

Fresh fish with a Greek flavor style, always good and adequate-to-large portions, we love it! We visit the Hoover & Downtown Birmingham locations often for a quick-but-delicious lunch whenever possible as well.

I was dispappinted with my last visit. Usually this is a great place to get good food at a good value. I had the snapper throats that were very fishy tasting and WAY overcooked. The service was lack luster at best. I hope this isn't the new norm

This restaurant is across the street from my doctor's office, so we frequent it often. The seafood is fantastic-some of the best I've ever had! In fact, their seafood beats most of the seafood I've had on the gulf coast I have a yet to find the dish that isn't wonderful. The food is also very affordable, especially at lunchtime.... More
