The ribs were dry and uninspired. The food was overpriced for the low quality. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are much better options for BBQ nearby.

I ordered BBQ ribs, mac&cheese, and potatoes salad. The ribs were cooked too done. The sides were not good with no favor in them. Every time I eat at Dreamland the ribs are burned and just not good. The best place downtown and five point in Birmingham for ribs is Jim & Nicks. The food has favor and taste in... More

Dreamland's ribs are wonderful: full of flavor, tender, and simply the best ribs that I have eaten! The ranch fries are a overhead in a thin, savory ranch dressing and sprinkled with their shaker salt. Hubby said the banana pudding was excellent. The service divine: infinite refills of perfect sweet tea, and our waiter was wonderful!

If you like rib flavored chewing gum you will like dreamland but if you don't then avoid this place. I was terribly disappointed. When I walked in and saw the smoke pit I couldnt wait but I finally used these horribly tough poor excuse for food to patch my tires.

Visited on a Friday night, they were so busy but still everyone was so friendly and the service was great! It was quite possibly the best bbq I've ever tasted!

I read great reviews and we pulled off the interstate for this. I hope this isn't the best BBQ in Birmingham. I was very disappointed. The pulled pork did not have any smoked flavor. It was nowhere near a good BBQ sandwich. I read that the Mac and cheese tasted homemade...tasted like Kraft to me. The beans were definitely straight... More

On a return visit to my old stomping grounds in Birmingham, Dreamland was #1 on my list for places to take my Boston-born girlfriend. The food was outstanding (as always!!), and she fell in love with the sauce, as well as what she thought was a quirky practice--dipping white bread in the sauce as a warm-up to the ribs. She... I have never had bad ribs. Dry ribs, overcooked ribs, all ribs are good ribs. These ribs however are the best. The barbecue is also great. The sauce is spectacular. The atmosphere is as one would want and expect for a rib/barbecue place. Parking is difficult, but you won't mind. If you are looking for ribs, you must try Dreamlands. You will not... More
