A real treat by a generous host and an opportunity to sample a top restaurant in the company of someone who is a regular. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, the owners were visible and welcoming. The food was excellent. My colleague was able (as was the waiter) to explain each option on the menu - I opted for the... More

Went their with a few friends for a Wednesday night dinner. Food was great, drinks great, service is great. Can be a little loud but has a positive energy! Great new decor. Pardis and Frank, you done good again!

Of the excellence we experienced here. We were only in Birmingham for one day, and wanted a nice little spot to have dinner. We have pretty high dining expectations, and Bottega exceeded all of them! The atmosphere is classic, trendy, and inviting. The food is fresh and packed full of flavor. The carpaccio, mmmm the carpaccio! The baked feta...a must!... More

I loved everything about this restaurant - the beautiful restaurant itself, our table in the front windows, the attentive service, but most especially the scrumptious food. I had red snapper with polenta and mushrooms, and I had no idea snapper could taste so good! Then the fresh peach cobbler was excellent with local peaches and not too much sugar. And... More

The rustic simplicity of Italian inspired fresh Stitt prepared local ingredients make it worth visiting Birmingham to dine.Make it a point to dine at Highland Bar and Chez Fonfon and you will see why Frank and Pardis Stitt are a star team. Bet you you meet one or both. Hands on great food!

Bottega is the finest restaurant in Birmingham. The only other one that comes close is Highlands Bar and Grill and they are owned by the same person, Chef Frank Stitt. It doesn't matter who you are or what you order, the service is first class and the food is always the best.

Went to Bottega the other night after a couple year hiatus and it was better than ever. The atmosphere is excellent, the service is impeccable and the food outstanding. This place is Stitt's best and certainly should not be missed if you're in Birmingham.

Farm to table is all the rage and Frank Stitt is the pioneer of this for Alabama. The freshest of good and local produce for a great price. I visit weekly to see what's on the menu! Try it, bet you love it.

I have been to Bottega a number of times since the Frank Stitt restaurant opened on the Southside of Birmingham, but I haven't been there for about two years. In those two years the quality of both the food and the service has really declined. The maitre d' and the waitstaff seemed preoccupied. They seemed bored and did not go... More

My husband and I had dinner reservations last Saturday evening at 5:30 to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. We were seated at a two top table in the back, and I was very pleased with the intimate setting. Right as our appetizer arrived, another couple was seated right next to us at a table uncomfortably close. In fact, I have... More
