We are visiting friends in Birmingham and at their suggestion we went to Bottega. What a wonderful experience. Service impeccable, decor beautiful, and food outstanding. I had an asparagus salad and snapper. We all split the Parmesan soufflé. Dessert was strawberry cake. Bellissimo. Please ignore the nasty review I hope Trip Advisor will consider taking it down. Whenever anyone writes... More

Visited Birmingham on a business trip and this place was highly recommended by a colleague. What a treat! This restaurant has a cafe side (which is quite nice as we mistakenly went into this entrance first, and were pleased) and a main dining room side which is where we had dinner. The atmosphere was wonderful and we were pleasantly surprised... More

Simply one of Birmingham's best restaurants. Great northern Italian food. Everything is top quality from menu to service. You don't have to ask for anything after you sit at the table, everything is taken care of. Carpaccio is the best I have ever had with top notch beef and outstanding horseradish sauce. Grouper with cuscus was outstanding. Personally I think... More

We had lunch and it was great. Service was great. The mussels were just right as was the salad. The martinis were just right and had ice slivers. We had tiramisu for dessert and I have to say I haven't found any better . Valet parking made it easy to get inside quickly. Looked at the dinner menu and will... More

Whether dining in the casual café, or the more formal side; you will not be disappointed. Always at the top of my list when deciding where to go. Frank Stitt knows how to run a great restaurant.

Bottega is hands down one of the best restaurants in Birmingham, if not the best. One of the Frank Stitt (James Beard winner and finalist) restaurants (he and his wife own Highlands Bar and Grill, Chez Fon Fon and Bottega and Bottega Cafe), it is exceptional and innovative food along with impeccable service. The cafe (right side of restaurant) is... More

Great food. Excellent creative menu. You've gotta try the soufflé appetizer! Out this world! Definitely one of Birmingham's finest.

I ate at Bottegga Cafe, which is adjacent to the restaurant and is open for lunch. The restaurant is only open for dinner. I went with a group of 12 with a reservation. The table for us was one long table with wooden picnic-style benches. Our 12 people fit OK, but there was no place to hang our coats. Normally... More

I have been eating here since the beginning and have never had a meal that was anything less than perfect. That includes the service. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and courteous.

This is an expense account restaurant. Looking around the room, I don't think anyone was actually paying for their own meals. The room is noisy, but the service very good if not a bit over done. If you value trendy over value -- this is the place for you! Certainly a place to take a client.
