I would recommend the Wood Grilled Caesar Salad ($8) & the Sautéed Spinach ($4). They are both excellent. The bread is sad. Bellini's, please change this! It's ok to be different, but this does not work. Stay away from the Margarita Pizza ($10) and the Rigatoni alla Romano ($15). The pizza had too much cheese and sauce. Only ate half... More

this is a neighborhood place, not very big, and lots of regulars are there every night. it's one of my favorite places in Birmingham because the service is very good, the food is excellent, the wine list is adequate, but they aren't snobs about it. the bar menu has duck tacos, but if you ask, they'll also serve them at... Good fish and steak, good service, good wine. It's a fairly small place, and gets crowded, so get reservations, easy to do online. Might be less crowded during the week. I especially liked the crabcake appetizer.

I went to Bellinis searching for any good place to have dinner, the food is awesome but unfortunately I didn't know that I should make a reservation to get a table, so the only option was to stay at the bar with the full dinner service

I live close to this restaraunt and I visit it frequently, not because it is close by but because the food is some of the best in the city and the service is generally excellent. Whatever you order, save room got the bread pudding. It is absolutely the best. Make a reservation.

Thats right. Every single time we visit Bellinis we enjoy more and more!!!! I try to order something different because my favorite and usual is the mediterranan chicken. We did venture outside the box last time, sat at the barside table and ordered the sliders...feta instead of blue cheese, and a pizza. DELISH!!!!!

I tried something new and wanted to tell the readers that it is also great. The wagyu stuffed ravioli's with Bolognese sauce was great. It was covered with mozzarella and topped with fresh basil. My wife had the portabella stack, it was also fantastic. So, every meal I have had here has been great. The only thing I could do... More

This is a very cozy neighborhood restaurant serving up excellent food in an area that is not otherwise well served with classy, upmarket eateries. The food is good, though not at the same level as the very top restaurants in town and they make some shortcuts. For example, the carpaccio is supposed to have shaved parmesan, not grated at the... Excellent service. You have to try the meatballs. If you have any room left at the end of the meal, they have the best bread pudding I've ever had.

There are a lot of nice places to eat in B'ham and several good Italian ones but Bellini's offers great food, great atmosphere and a slightly more upscale experience. And it's in an area where there aren't many competitors. I would recommend this as a choice if you are in the area.
