My church group and I ate at this property for lunch yesterday. I had the P/P pork lunch special ($8.00), with a glass of the house chardonnay ($6.00). I have eaten there before, and I will probably each there again. It has been a Southside staple for many years. This property also does a brisk take-out business. The wait staff... More

We were celebrating graduations and the party ordered a variety of food entrees. There were mixed reviews from our party. Some loved the fried sushi roll and others felt that it was too greasy. I was very happy with the Thai noodle.

I've never had a bad meal here. My favorite dish is the Larb (ground chicken that you wrap in cabbage), The martinis and desserts are also fantastic.

I love eating at Surin at lunch because that is the only time they offer the Chicken noodle bowl. Which is a shame! I really wish they would offer this dish on the evening menu! The lunch menu starts off with the coconut soup... delicious! You can ask for the French onion soup (not listed on the menu, but offered... More

I ordered the pad thai (noodle dish) which was a bowl full, plenty to share. It had wonderful flavor. We ordered the chicken larb as an appetizer. This is ground chicken spiced (not hot) and served with raw cabbage leaves. I couldn't get enough of it.

Love the food, the Kaboom is a favorite. Service can be unpredictable, at times most excellent. Parking can be a challenge as well. There is another Surin on Hwy 280 that is excellent with plenty of parking. Food at both is most excellent, fresh and delicious sushi!

Since we live in Birmingham, we often go out to eat at Surin. In fact, it is one of my 18-year-old son's favorite restaurants! The last time we went there for dinner was last week. We were seated immediately and had great service! Since it was happy hour (1/2 price off of appetizers, we ordered two: Crab Angels and Surin... More

Yes...great restaurant. In fact there are 3 Surins...West, 280 and Crestline. Original Surin from Atlanta. Really good sushi too. Super Crunch sushi and desserts are not to miss. Friendly atmosphere and good service. Never disappoints and I'm a local.

Stopped here on a recommendation of a family member. We had the crab angels, Super crunch roll, and shrimp pineapple boat. Everything was just as described and delicious. If ever in town, I would come here again.

I have been to Thailand and many things on the menu are not "authentic". However, they taste great! Food is reasonably priced - I think lunch is the best bargain. It is definitely our go-to place.
