We stopped in on our trip to Birmingham after advice from a museum tour guide. This place was definitely a local joint. I thought it was okay, but it wasn't super memorable. Our kids liked their chicken strip meals. We each had a burger and fries. The sauce wasn't my favorite. It tasted kind of BBQ ish, but it wasn't... More

I was traveling back from Louisiana going to Huntsville and stopped here because I love their tea. The wait was far too long for a cheeseburger, fries and sweet tea. Waited at least 15 minutes. Employees did not look like they wanted to be there. Burger and tea was great, fries where okay.

I gave this place 2 because the fries were OK. The hamburger looked like something from "Dexter", there was so much, horrible sauce on that 1/4 inch burger, that I lost my desire...The burger was really about 1/4 inch, the only difference from a Md D's burger, were the grill marks. I tried wiping the sauce from the burger but... More

We come here frequently, especially with friends from out of town. It is always good no matter what day you choose to go! The secret sauce is one of a kind and I would get a couple extra cups for the fries too!!! The burgers are made to order and they even grill the buns. Their tea is popular although... More

Stopped at a Milo's for the 1st time particularly becuase we like Milo's tea. Upon walking into the restaurant we were greeted by a smoke haze that filled the entire store. After the order we were looking at the menu board and noticed under Drinks it states "fresh brewed in store, not Milo's famous tea". Are you kidding? Your name... More

I wanted to try something local but didn't want to go to far from the hotel the night I arrived and happened on this(I wasn't aware until later that they have more in the area). It sort of reminded me of an In N Out burger if you've ever been to one. The menu isn't extensive but focused on just... More

I've been to Bessemer/Birmingham several times for work, and I always grab lunch at Milo's while I'm in town. Burgers are delicious and they have their Milo's Sauce which is perfect for a burger. I read the review below about the salty fries, and Milo's fries have a seasoning salt (similar to Lowery) applied to them. I like the fries,... More

I was told that Milo's is a local hamburger joint favorite in Bessemer. Maybe I went on a bad day but never have I been served fries so laden with salt. I literally had to brush off the excess salt on each fry before considering tasting it. The hamburger sauce seemed to be A-1 which overpowered the burger. All I... More
