They still have IT!!!

Stopped in town for a couple of days stopped in for the buffet. Both pasta and pizza were great. Love the garlic bread. I'll be back next time I'm in town.

This is, hands down, the best Muffalletta . . . . anywhere . . . . including New Orleans. About 5 or 6 years ago, my teenage son and I stayed the night in Bessemer on the way to Talladega. We got lost looking for a rib place. After we gave up on that, we came across Muffalletta's. Since then,... More

They serve the best muffalletta around. We came back from New Orleans and stopped to get a muffalletta here. Central Grocery in NOLA is very good but they serve theirs cold. Muffallettas in Bessemer heats theirs so all that good cheese melts. The large one is more than enough for two people. Give them a try.

I've eaten here more than any other place around! Absolutely love their Muffaletta's. If you go try this sandwich, you won't be disappointed!

If you want an authentic muffalletta, this is the place to go. I have not tried their other food products yet. They do have a drive thru window if you prefer not to get out of your car.

My wife and I eat here often. The food is great, REAL Italian food that local pizza chains can't beat. Maybe It's because it's a small hole-in-the-wall off the Bessemer Super Highway, but the staff/owners have always been nice, and the food has to be great in order to compete with the big chain restaurants. It's a small place with... More

Food was ok, but the staff's attitude was horrible. If you like being treated like a burden, then this is the place for you. Will never go back!

The food is pretty good but you often get a bit of an attitude, like you're bothering them by being there. My last visit was okay but the one before was 5 years prior and I said I would never go back. I may try it again but not for a while.

Be sure and get the muffalletta, large or small. The owner won't sell it without heating it which really makes it wonderful. They also have a buffett everyday with pasta, pizza and lots of other wonderful items. A small little place but be sure to stop in.
