Good service, good English spoken, nice menus. I got the super burger (without BBQ sauce), and all the ingredients were great except the burger itself. Even making allowances for the beef in China, it was greasy, bland, and soft. The fries were limp and undercooked. The chocolate milkshake was awful, weird dairy product and gritty. My wife liked her penne... More

Nice place with a great selection of beers, i recommend the super burger as a great hunger killer. Beer prices are OK and they play most major football matches live, one of the few bars that do. Good location and opposite DMZ Bar which is the latest open bar.

The alley reputation is already well established. For foreign beers and high-quality western food, it is a necessary stop.

Tired of the poor to average Chinese food on offer, we came here for a change of starch. It was so nice to have, not only edible food, but food that had taste! It was so pleasant we came back for a second visit. I recommend the pasta. The one with bacon, chilli and olive was tasty, with a punch.... More

We ate here because it purported to have the 'best pizzas in Yangshuo', according to a review somewhere. It certainly was tasty, and the toppings generous, but the bases were a little flat, like a lavash instead of a good pizza dough. Made us wonder what the other pizzas in Yangshuo must be like. The service was good, and the... More

Good for people watching and just off the main strip so don't get hassled. The food and drinks were nice and well priced. Staff friendly and helpful.

We are in Yangshuo for 3 month and we've eaten The Alley a lot! They have the best western food in Yangshuo so if you stay there and want western food once in a while go there! Try nr. 11 pizza! :-)

We ate here two times during our weekend stay in Yangshuo. It's good to find a western restaurant with a readable menu. The first time i ordered a cheese burger, the meat was tasty but too salty. The second time I ordered a Margarita pizza, thin and crispy, nothing special but in China it is special. The waitress was very... More

We're living in Yangshuo for a year and love to eat here once in a while. The owner is a friendly man and always in for a small talk. Beyond this the food is just soooo good. After eating Chinese food almost every day it's great to occasionally eat something else with a good and strong taste. Especially the pasta's... More
