I rarely review restaurants as food is such a personal taste, but we sought this place out after reading the reviews on here and just didn't understand the hype. Most places on the main street here do really tasty (far better than I expected) set menus in the evening, and the set menu here was slightly more expensive and of... More

This is a gem of a restaurant off the beaten track and even better than expected! The food was outstanding - local ingredients (eg. the herb rica-rica, the spice merken, the grains mote and quinoa, local red berries..) cooked in a modern "fusion" style. They offer a "menu" deal with two choices per course (quality over quantity) but there are... More

Is it fancy? No. Does the food taste good? Yes. Why should one go there? It's good honest food at good honest prices unlike many of the overpriced tourist traps in Caracoles Street. Service is also very prompt by Chilean standards. It's tiny and popular. Book and go.

We managed to get a table at a busy weekend...Thanks to our amazing guide. The food took typical local ingredients and created plates of amazingness. Reasonably priced food and wine list the restaurant is basic in decor, tho typical and small. The 3 course menu has two options per course. with little translation we chose mushrooms, winacca and pannecotta/cheesecake. Delicious.... More

Went here for lunch during our trip to the Atacama. Small place as others have mentioned and bench seats could be better....however, the food and the service are definately worth it! My husband and I had each of the dishes offered so that we could share and try a taste of local Atacaman food. One salad featured local goat cheese... More

Tried this one because of excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. Did not disappoint. Simple place, not many tables, the owner in charge and menu del dia only with two choices per course. Perfect. Only thing not perfect for some people were hard wooden seats but it didn't spoil it for us. Food was well cooked, interesting and delicious. Toasted seeds... More

As others have said, this is a 5 minute walk off the main drag and is a small establishment (20 seats) that offers both lunch and dinner. It's always a fixed price menu (8000 CP) that provides at least two different options for starter, main course and desert. They change the menu every day. If you arrive early (7:30pm) you... More

traditional cooking and a fusion of cultures from far off southern chilean territories and Mapuche fire to traders and cultured interests of Tiwanaku waters. great simple recipes. Super adventurous examples to amuse your mouth with dabbles of local flavors that are wonderful and yummy. Hosts Cesar and Marta are an amazing team and they know how to run a great... More

We dined here twice during our stay in San Pedro- once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times we had the set menu (which changes every day). It's an intimate dining area with approximately 6-8 tables. Food was very tasty- lots of fresh ingredients and original takes on traditional recipes. Good value for money given the prices of other... This restaurant is a 20 minute or so walk from the main restaurant strip which only adds to the whole experience. It almost feels like you are walking out of town as there seemed to be little else around where the restaurant is. We arrived without a reservation for lunch and there was only one other couple there so no... More
