This restaurant is just amazing. The food is so good. I tasted some of the appetizers and the salads were the best. My favorite salad was the house salad with salmon and quinoa... delicious!!! I also had some wonderful pork with rustic mashed potatoes. The waiters also were so nice! you must visit this place!

Service was very good and the food was delicious, but what I really loved was to find a typical food, pastel de choclo, which not even in Santiago I had found. Besides that, for dessert, they have another typical thing: mote com huesillos, which you will not find in any other restaurant in San Pedro. About the latter, a tip:... More

We went to this restaurant because recommended in the Lonely Planet guide and we really enjoyed the food! The service is super fast, the meat was delicious and tender, fare prices!

The food was average, but we were kept waiting for it for 2 full hours even though the place was virtually empty.

The fire burning at the center of the dining area adds a touch of light hearted camp like atmosphere during the dinner time. The live band and singers rendering local and other Spanish numbers to foot-tapping beat completes the visitors' senses of local tastes, sounds and smells...

Nice atmosphere with a fire (I sat outside at the back of the restaurant, which I'd recommend to head for). The food was great, I had the ubiquitous empanada to start followed by the bistec a lo pobre (poor man's steak)...I really didn't need the starter as the portions were very large. With a half bottle of wine it came... More

Stopped for a late lunch and were very pleased with our choice of restaurants. We ordered the Empanadas and the Parmesan Scallops. The Empanadas were larger than we had anticipated and one could have been split between us. The eight scallops were delicious. Overall, one of the best meals we had in San Pedro.

La Casona rocked-my-world! I spent 8 full-days in San Pedro, trying out the "best" restaurants, by ranking, on Trip Adviser, and the meals I had at this place were one of the highlights of my trip. Having been born in MEXICO, raised in the USA and now living in CHILE, I can safely say that I have tried quite a... More

Lovely ambience with roaring fire and great food! We had the set menu which is good value especially in an expensive place like San Pedro. We had the quinoa salad, salmon and Asada Leche, yum!

The food here was fine, as was the service. My wife and I visited for an early dinner - something that's hard to do in San Pedro de Atacama, and thankfully La Casona's kitchen was open. We found a few unique items on the menu but, after a couple of weeks of adventurous eating on our trip, we really just... More
