Worth a visit

Just stumbled upon this place while roaming La Serena. Great atmosphere - the grill is in the middle of the dining room and the waiters wear traditional gaucho-like clothing. Our waiter was a little odd, but he was fine. We ordered empanadas and kabobs and everything was great.

Food was great, options for all, meat lovers, veggie lovers, seafood. My kids (6 & 7yrs) were happy with their meal. Great ambience in an old colonial house. Recommended.

We came here on our first trip to La Serena & I have to say the food & attention was superb. We ordered the traditional "parillada" & the smell of the wine & lomo just lures you in. We were looking for a traditional Chilean restaurant & everything was top notch, the owner also spoke fluent english & helped clarify... More

Have to agree with some of the other reviews. The service here was very attentive and friendly (thanks Roberto) and the steak (bife chorizo) was exceptional. Ambience was real pleasant and great watching the food being prepared over the indoor grill. There was something honest and caring about this place, which comes through in the quality of food and service.... More
