Lovely hotel and garden with a great restaurant. The owners Mathieh and Sotty have returned after a spell of illness so their normal excellent service has resumed. I wish them all the very best.

We were staying in the Cabaret Vert. It is quiet and beautiful. Food is excellent. The swimming pool too hot to enjoy it.

Nice atmosphere, food is delicious, good wines. Worth the travel out there as it is not so far. I give it an excellent rating and I am a tough restaurant critic that does not like many of the restaurants in BTB. Check out my other reviews.

Once we added the cost of our tuk tuk out to the restaurant and the cost of our food together and just wasn't worth the time I took to get there. Good was alright but I wouldn't call it French OR Khmer. Maybe they need to choose one and stick to it rather than trying to fuse them together?

It is all about relationships first. I love the people. Albrecht and Veronique. I love the ambience and the food is just another bonus. I visit twice a year, so it has become a second home.

We were recommended to visit for dinner and were surprised that we were the only people in the restaurant. It's a far way out from the main area and although the food was nice and well presented, it certainly wasn't anything to rave about or travel such a distance as there are nicer and better restaurants in town. We also... More

Nice atmosphere. Really friendly and attentive staff. Food was delicious. I had the cabbage leaves stuffed with fish and a good amok was also served. Tomato salad wasn't up to much. Lovely atmosphere too. Would recommend as we ate the best food we had in Battambang.

We had a wonderful time at Au Cabaret Vert. The service was excellent (the quickest time we had been served food in Battambong) and the food delicious. We ordered Cordon Bleu and asked for blue cheese sauce on the side which was not a problem. The desserts went down very well - banana spring rolls with a chocolate dipping sauce... More

Generally, our group was pleased with the food, although some were surprised that the food presented didn't really match the menu description. The setting is delightful and the atmosphere of the restaurant top notch. They offer an excellent wine list that is well priced. Those of us that chose some of the more fusion items on the menu seemed to... More
