We randomly decided to spend 2 nights in Battambang while in Cambodia and enjoyed our brief time there. Our trip was enhanced by our 2 visits to Nary Kitchen. When we arrived around 8.30 on the first night the hotel reception recommended Nary to us. We had a delicious amok and local curry. While there we heard about the cooking... More

We had breakfast here. Drinks included fresh juices. Food included rice and pancakes. Very enjoyable. Friendly staff.

I was suggested to try the fish Amok by the waiter. And it was sooo good! Good waiter, didn't have to wait for new drinks. I definitely recommend this restaurant. I will eat here again this week!

Me: 'I've booked us in for a cooking class on New Year's Eve.' Him: 😳 The tuk tuk collects and deposits us at Nary's Kitchen just before 4pm. A French Canadian couple are already there. Another couple, UK/Argentinian arrive. We sit studying our recipe books then it's off to the market with Toot! He is super friendly, knowledgeable and funny.... More

Absolutely the best! The owners are lovely local family who are really passionate about the food. Don't be shy and try something what s not on the menu, for example fantastic rice and pork for brekfast(typical Khmer morning dish). The best in Battambang!!!

A disappointment! Red Whine and white Whine maderized as stored vertical in the sun. Whine charged also not touched beyond tasting. Food fine but nothing special. Indian karaoke running without interruption. Working wifi.

Unfortunately, it has been very tense and speedy be cause they want to respect their schedule. It would have been perfect with no more than 20 minutes more. This is cooking capitalism in Cambodia! What a shame for cooking which should only be linked with pleasure... If you can, do it in the country side in a small village!!! At... More

They take you to a market full of animal corpses and animals being murdered and then expect you to eat. I ran out of the market crying.

We arrived here after seeing the Phare Circus. It was a fantastic end to the evening. We had rice wine, coca cola, a plate of limes and a bowl of ice to make our drinks. It's my new favourite drink. The Fish Amok was beautiful. The restaurant was extremely clean. The owner was friendly and interesting to talk to. The... More

Top notch service and great food too. The owner was very helpful and speaks very good english, he even organised us a tuk tuk for the afternoon (at a good price) and minded our bikes while we were out. Would head back for sure!
