This place came recommended from both lonely plant and tripadvisor, and being one of the only restaurants on the east side of the river where we are staying, we decided to give it a try. When we entered we were greeted by... no one. The place was completely deserted and we had to double check the posted hours to make... More

The owner had closed for 4 months but are open now. Great local food with very friendly staff. Spent some time chatting with their owner and her family and she shared a lot about the city and herself. The chicken amok was great for around $3.50

I have been there several times and the food is always amazing. It´s a good place to eat a sandwich or anything, but I would recommend to ask for the khmer food as they cook it really well: amok fish, red curry, pork with eggplant... Clean place and good service.

Really enjoyed the bamboo train ride. Quite an experience and it is a shame that provisions cannot be made for it to somehow continue nearby in April when the line is going to be replaced for the real trains to travel on.

A quiet place with reasonable prices. Our food was good and plenty of it. Nice staff although their English was limited. Some nice touches such as offering us some peeled fresh fruit on the house after our meal!

The café is pleasant and the food was delicious. However I wasn't too sure about the sanitation after visiting the toilet at the back. But then, no-one got sick!

Another experience altogether for my husband and me. It was great fun both ways, you'd never get to do that in England, Health and Safety and all that!

Friendly family run small restaurant. Food is good - try the couscous, vegetable and chicken dish (I forget the name). Good service. ONly related to the actual Bamboo train in name - although there is lots of info around the walls/leaflets about local excursions.
