Freshly made food by a wonderfully friendly family

We visited every night for the week we were in Battambang, and wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy another meal! A fantastic and friendly family run restaurant, with a hostess who is super accommodating no matter what your dietary needs. She really goes out of her way to make you feel welcome, and cooks the best food we've... More

Away from the tourist district and super quiet, this family run restaurant serves the best food in town by a mile. We stayed in Battambang for 2 months and ate at every restaurant in town and this one always came out on top. Try the amok! Super friendly staff too. It is mostly pretty quiet but don't let that out... More

Situated on the east side of the river, it's an environment more quiet than all other restaurants in the centre of Battambang crowded by tourists. 1- Delicious food! The majority of the menu is fresh & homemade. I went twice and I always enjoyed it! 2- Very reasonable prices. I eat for less than $5 for a substantial plate of... More

We came to the restaurant after reading about it in lonely planet. To our surprise it wass empty. When we came we were welcomed by the nice owner, her sister and her sweet little kids. We ordered fried rice with vegetables and tofu amok. Both of the dishes were delicious. We got a great feeling from the owner, she made... More

This place came recommended from both lonely plant and tripadvisor, and being one of the only restaurants on the east side of the river where we are staying, we decided to give it a try. When we entered we were greeted by... no one. The place was completely deserted and we had to double check the posted hours to make... More

The owner had closed for 4 months but are open now. Great local food with very friendly staff. Spent some time chatting with their owner and her family and she shared a lot about the city and herself. The chicken amok was great for around $3.50

I have been there several times and the food is always amazing. It´s a good place to eat a sandwich or anything, but I would recommend to ask for the khmer food as they cook it really well: amok fish, red curry, pork with eggplant... Clean place and good service.

Really enjoyed the bamboo train ride. Quite an experience and it is a shame that provisions cannot be made for it to somehow continue nearby in April when the line is going to be replaced for the real trains to travel on.

A quiet place with reasonable prices. Our food was good and plenty of it. Nice staff although their English was limited. Some nice touches such as offering us some peeled fresh fruit on the house after our meal!
