It was nice to sit and watch the city pass by while eating excellent amok and drinking fruit shakes (jackfruit on this day). Being a cooking school, you pretty much can guarantee good food.

We actually got our cooking class canceled the day of. We were greated by a piece Of paper saying the chef was " too sick to come today". This was very disapointing. Reading tripadvisor, i see this has happened now on numerous occasions. I guess the guy just cant be bothered to show up if there are only 2 people... More

We took a cooking class here. Incredible fun and cool experience. You head off to the market to buy fresh stuff (e.g. freshly pressed coconut milk, not the canned version we have in Europe; fresh fish fillet meaning was alive just a minute ago...), then learn the tricks and tips of cooking, have some beers with the food you just... Had lunch at the Smokin' Pot after stopping by the day before for a shake. The owner and staff were extremely personable, and the food was great! It was really pleasant to sit outside with a fan keeping us cool. The restaurant is a real Cambodian restaurant (but with reliable hygeine standards)-not a western version of Cambodia. I highly recommend... More

Took the cooking class here. It was a great experience. Bought our fresh ingredients from the local market. Our chef was a true Khmer chef who was very personable. The class was outdoors and the food we prepared was incredible. Highly recommended!

We did the morning cooking class and would highly recommend it. Small, personal class, friendly owner-cum-chef, delicious home style food. Cookbook included. Very reasonably priced compared to similar classes in other locations. We did a trip to the local market, then cooked 3 dishes and ate everything - pretty cheap way to get lunch in too! Make sure you book... More

Very nicely situated little restaurant. Open kitchen where you can see what and how they cook. We also did a cooking course which was lots of fun! The owner is a very friendly guy who has a warm Cambodian heart for the country and its kitchen. He brought us to the local market and introduced us to many new ingredients.... More

I just went here for the cooking class and had a really enjoyable time. The best bit though was hearing about local culture and issues with western v local business. Definately recommend although my amok didn't turn out as good as the one I had in kampot which was devine!
